I am a first time buyer of any Furikake' Seasoning to put on Cooked Rice mostly & i was unsure what to buy etc. I saw this and was trying to think what will be a good choice, kept looking at other products & those silly 'Sachets/packs on sale' (don't bother). It was driving me Mad to buy the best' one lol..., etc but i decided to try it. It is a big 100g Tub..Looks small on the Advertisement' but its a Big Tub!.. I cooked Rice and sprinkled it all over it, Beautiful Taste!... It is not Spicy, more of a Mellow sweeter Taste, but very nice & easy to eat with the Rice or sprinkling over anything.. I purchased this kimchi furikake on a whim, and I’m so glad I did! The flavour is great—sweet, slightly spicy, and full of pleasant savouriness that pairs perfectly with so many dishes. I'm not sure this is really furikake but it's crunchy and very nice on rice or noodles.

Update to my original review, I have this on subscription but I’ve had to cancel due to quality issues. There’s a 50% chance the jar you receive could be rancid. I’ve had to throw 4 out of 8 jars in the bin because they smell and taste awful. Not eligible for returns means you have to jump through hoops to get your money back. This product is already expensive it’s just not worth it. I’ve already emailed Emma basic and had no reply. In the picture the one on the right is fine, the left one is off. VERY DISAPPOINTING!!! I was looking for something to add interest to my daily breakfast of hard boiled eggs. This stuff is so delicious I’ve used the whole jar in just over a week. I now have it on subscription :D goes great on sticky rice too, adding crunch and umami.

This is a great seasoning to add to salads, rice & anything savoury

Just got a second tub. This stuff is so good! Try it on anything. Sometimes if I'm feeling snacky I'll just coat my tongue in this for a burst of great flavour. Thankfully not fishy like most furikake
