Didn't print sent back
Had to send it back but can't fault the customer service from malyan people. They even sent a free printer for compensation for the trouble we had with the original .

It’s good but don’t buy spools as you don’t need them you need resin he falsely advertised you need spools

This literally came with no software/Slicer and none of the new slicers have any settings for it. Mine also had a bad screen. I really wanted to like this, but with no support, its kind of useless.

Came in TERRIBLE condition; parts hot glued together, grease everywhere, resin residue everywhere. Liquid (i assume resin) seeped out and corroded the styrofoam shipping shell, which made styrofoam stick to the edges of the machine and corrode the machine itself. The resin reservoir was beyond dirty, clearly used and poorly cleaned. All around terrible, not even willing to see if it actually works.

I bought this printer a couple of months ago, all in all, it‘s a very good printer, but there are some issues. First, the good: - Largest build volume under 1000$ - Very well constructed. If you‘re printing from a shop and not from home, you want something sturdy that‘s made of metal, not plastic. - great design. The printer has an automatic feed system which makes working with resin a lot cleaner. Just make sure to flush the pump with alcohol after every print to prevent it from seizing. It also has a door, rather than a lift-off top, which I prefer as you can check on your prints without risking damaging them. - exposure & lift settings can be adjusted while printing. - very smooth & steady z-axis movement. Now here are the issues: - When I got the printer there was some resin residue on the screen, which I had to remove. The Malyan Staff, which btw are very nice, responsive, and helpful, told me they test every printer before shipping it out. I cleaned them off, started a few test prints & after each one i ended up with resin marks again. —> the FEP liner had a number of very small holes that allowed resin to seep through. Not sure if their liner is low quality or if it was from the shipping. I replaced the liner, no more resin stains. Replacing the liner was very easy, but: - the vat design could be better. I’d prefer more control with the tightening of the film. Some films work better with slightly more or less tension. The spout is also more suitable for less viscous fluids. So don't pour the resin out through the spout. I use the feed system to pump the resin back into the bottle, but it‘s slow, as its intended purpose is to gently introduce resin into the vat without disturbing the print. - the printer has wifi but the browser interface could really be better. Would also be nice if Malyan would get their printer added to some of the slicing softwares, so you don‘t have to set everything manually. I hope the updated version will address the resin vat design and firmware/software updates. But ultimately, for 450$ this printer is really good!
