Ecover Concentrated Bio Laundry Liquid, 1.5L

This is the best eco friendly, pleasant smelling, and gentle yet effective detergent I have found. It cleans brilliantly, even on cold temperatures and leaves a mild, pleasent scent. It is very gentle on clothes. Perhaps the best thing about the this is that it does not contain optical Brighteners. Optical Brighteners are great at keeping whites whiter and prevent yellowing. However, for coloured fabrics, they causing fading and dullen the clothes over time. This detergent will keep your clothes looking newer for longer. I use this primarily for coloured (light and dark) fabrics. As I wash whites separate anyways, I use a detergent with optical Brighteners for those. I also like that it is biological, so it is great for cleaning gym clothes etc throughly. This is also great if you wash your whites and colours together.

I have been using this for years. The smell is heavenly! The results are amazing. There's a big misconception that enzymes irritate sensitive skin. I have found that it is in fact the "optical brighteners" aka microplastics that irritate my skin. This one of very few detergents that does NOT contain said optical brighteners but does contain the enzymes that help break down all manner of organic substances that make their way onto your clothes. A note on softener: I prefer not to use softener with this detergent, as it just clogs up the fibres in the fabric with an oily residue. It causes your machine to go mouldy and most of them are "harmful to aquatic life, with long lasting effects". Give your cottons a whirl in the tumble dryer after washing with this and they will come out soft, plump and smelling fresh. Bye-bye cardboard T-shirts!

I got this detergent because I have pretty sensitive skin and sometimes have allergic reactions to certain products. I found that ecover was a hypoallergic laundry detergent. This product didn't irritate my skin one bit and the smell is great too and not too overbearing. I found it washes and cleans clothes just as good as any other detergent and is also environment friendly!

Eco friendly economical liquid detergent. Gets wash really clean I use for machine wash or washing by hand. Fragrant scent makes wash smell fresh. Good value for money. I suffer from sensitive skin condition which this product is ideal to use for me.

Bought this when usual brand was no longer available. So glad I tried it because it’s brilliant! Washing smells gorgeous and the fragrance lasts for days. Very light but fresh scent. Great cleaning power too. Whites look bright. Stains removed without the need for stain remover. Love it so much I now also use the waiver softener and have both on subscribe and save so that I never run out.

I've been using this laundry detergent for over a year, maybe even two already, and I'm never going back to anything I was using before. This detergent is CRUELTY FREE, which is a huge plus, the scent is very nice but not very strong, so you can still use baric softener with different scent(I do the same) and it's BIO. It does it's job greatly, and gently. And it's also 4£ cheaper here on Amazon than it is in Tesco for example. If you're thinking about changing for this one, don't hesitate and buy :)

It seems to clean the clothes when I use it, so all good.

Usually buy this with my supermarket order but this price was much better. I am in an eco-dilemma whether to purchase in bigger sized containers; swap to powder in a card box or just think the whole thing through again!!!!! I do however like this product, no worry of powder dissolving fully in a large wash, great for handwashing too and a pleasant fresh fragrance. When did life get so complicated?
