I get lots of compliments. I am a fast walker in general, so I need a shoe I can move in and I do not want a flat shoe due to my plantar. I wear these with shorts and dresses - I have two pair of the brand and they are my go to shoe - if you do not like this style, then I suggest you check out the brand in general. I wear a 9 wide (use to be a 8.5 and then one day, over night my feet grew like a hobbit!)
