The first winter there were only a dozen tubes filled. The next winter over half were filled. This winter there is a no vacancy sign! My parents take it into the garage before the first hard freeze and then return it outside during the spring thaw. Then within a few weeks, the reeds are empty and a new generation begins to use it. This bee house is a great addition and fits right in. It is well made and beautiful. We installed it under the eaves and near some blooming flowers. But unfortunately it is missing about 5 tubes. It’s not like they fell out in the box either. Nowhere to be found. On top of this there are other loose ones and without plugging the empty area with something (maybe a rocks or some sticks) everything is going to get loose and fall out. My reviews are hardly ever negative. This product though is disappointing.
