Hammaka Cradle Chair - Blue

My wife loves this chair. The knot was not in the best spot for our stand, but my skydiver son was able to undo it and retie so it’s in just the right position now. Moves freely, and seems to be holding up, though we’ve only had it for a couple months.

I have purchased three of these over the years for myself and as gifts. My first one eventually rotted out at the bottom of the seat because I left it outside for several years ... in the rain, snow and sun. I said to myself ... "they should put a grommet in the seat to allow the rain to drain out". Lo and behold, on my last order, there was the grommet ! Nice improvement. This cradle chair uses heavy duty canvas, stout poly rope and varnished poles. It also inclues a nice, canvas carry case with handle. My grandson always rushes for the chair when he comes to my house. Loves to swing ... "higher PaPa ! " Get one, you will not be dissapointed.

I definitely love this chair the feeling of not being attached to the ground and swinging. It takes a while to put together I had to look at the Box picture over and over. And where The dowels fit in is kind of strange. Also getting the ropes equal is tedious. But once you get it adjusted you're good to go. I see ease of assembly is part of five star reviews. But not for me. I attached an extra rope I had to a tree nearby and used it to make the chair swing.

Easy setup, rugged . Just need to readjust the ropes as they will stretch, however that is to be expected. Recommend

We bought 2 of these and we like them, and they were fairly easy to set up, however tying the knot into the hook was very difficult and we're a little uneasy if it will continue to hold the chair and the person in it. It makes us a little nervous b/c we had a couple before (a rope one) and they were all together with reinforced steel loops and hooks. We did hook them up to our hammock chair stands but they were so low that when you sit in them your butt almost touches the bottom of the stand. We did adjust the chair but again the knot makes us nervous and we had to bring up the nylon rope as far as it could go and it still sits low. We haven't tied them to a tree branch as yet so we're hoping that will work better.

Yes it was everything we had hoped for and more. My wife will be enjoying many hours of wonderful relaxation this summer.

Good value for money

I have never sat in anything so comfortable in my life. I lost two hours of my day just hanging in this and don’t regret a second of it.

This is the third set we’ve owned and we love them!
