When my remote stopped working on my "old" Vizio tv, I assumed it would mean buying a new television. I was pleased to find this univeral remote on the Amazon site. When I opened it, I was surprised to see exactly the same remote that had just died. Put the batteries in the remote, plugged the television back in and tada television was working. No programming other than an initial code according to the instructions. Not a bit of problem since.

My dog destroyed the control of my TV, this option was excellent, just make sure it is compatible with the year of your TV.. and it works very well.. I recommend it

Does the job! Bought this on the cheap to replace an original that got “accidently” damaged. Worked like the original, just didn’t have the Samsung label on the case bottom, and it takes two AAA batteries. But hey it worked!

Remote works perfect but now i cant get internet working even though it says connected.

It would be good to know if you are suppose to have the Vizio Television turned ON before you start THIS universal remote, as it doesNOT tell you in their little amount of directions on the piece of paper that comes with the remote. If this remote’s ( piece of paper), called directions, would of showed what every single button is suppose to do I might of kept it, but NO, I will be returning it. Of course as in all other remotes I have owned, I went directly to the battery compartment put in the batteries and pushed power button on this universal remote well NO You are to not TOUCH any buttons on the remote UNTIL You READ the first line of instructions which SPECIFICALLY says pit batteries in and TRY it ( what they mean is TOTALLY it should just start working. Well no it doesn't! not on this remote anyway So I did A1. instruction then A.2) and Remote still not working on my Vizio television thst has the HDMI 1 hook up to our CABLE device and our HDMI 2 hook up to our FireTV streaming device. But on instruction A.3) it says to check the function of the REMOTE ! What remote are they talking about , is it their REMOTE or my VIZIO television remote or my cable tv remote or my Fire TV remote ?????? This company wherever it is from does not give directions so that someone who knows Nothing about remotes other than turning them on knows what they mean by check the FUNCTION of the REMOTE! Direction need to be very very specific and BIT generalized . from #3 direction on I donot know of I am suppose to go on and do B. C.D. or what . They should of said if A. directions donot work do B. If B directions doNot work do C, If C. doesn't work do D. And I canNOT ask them directly because Amazon artificial intelligence tries to answer pre conceived questions which mine was NOT so I need to talk to the company customer service but CANNOT because there is NO listing for them not an email address or phone number , Nothing!
