I really needed an upgrade from the cheap crappy wood paddles we had previously so this was the set I decided on. The paddles are lightweight but really nice! The grip is comfortable, even after extended play, which makes a big difference in reducing hand fatigue. The set also comes with two balls which play very much like all my other ones. The balls are durable and provide a good bounce! Overall, this set is a great value for anyone looking to get into pickleball or upgrade their equipment. My husband and I are pretty happy and impressed with this set especially for the cost!

Lately I have been researching of games and activities that could keep my children interested in spending more quality time outdoors. This sport was actually a great success and everyone in my family has been enjoying playing pickleball for hours. This can easily be a game for outside during the warm months but can make a great indoor activity as well during cold weather. The fiberglass paddles deliver precise shots and the balls are perfectly designed to deliver accuracy. The paddles are light and easy to control. The 2 paddles and balls that come with the set are wonderful even for beginner pickleball players.

These paddles are made of carbon fiber making them very strong for a great serve but also lightweight so feel I am able to play different strokes with more ease and precision. Like the design and that they also come with a ball.

Really like the carbon fiber paddles, makes for a smooth hit. The pickleballs have a nice bounce, exceptional bang for your buck!

This review is for the Reebok Pickleball Set for Two Players. I received a free taxable sample of this pickleball set in my search for pickleball equipment I could use to introduce pickleball to my friends. The set comes in a branded and decorated box within which are two paddles and two pickleballs. The set can be gifted as is within a gift bag or wrapped in gift wrap. Each paddle weighs an average of 221.5 grams and measures 15 ⅞” from the bottom of the handle to the top of the paddle. The face of the paddle is edged with a plastic edge guard and measures ⅝” thick, 7 ⅝” across the center, and 10 ½” from the top of the face to where it joins with the handle. The 5” irregular hexagonal handle (1 ⅜” x 1 ¼” diameters) is wrapped with an adequately cushioned and ventilated grip tape. The paddles in use are quite light and balanced with a good feel that helps with making clean and consistent contact with the ball. As per the product information, the paddles have a carbon fiber face over a honeycombed polypropylene core that generally delivered the shot to where I intended. In terms of spin, I was able to use the somewhat gritty surface to generate a decent amount of spin but nothing too crazy as I’ve seen the professionals do. I like that the paddles come edged with plastic guards as my friends did end up scraping the ground a few times over the course of playing a couple hours. I like the overall aesthetics of the paddles - the main graphics on the paddle faces have a geometric theme that complements the hexagonal channels around the openings in the ventilated grip. A nice added touch is that each of the paddles has a different colorway of the same design. Letter and logo branding is prevalent but subtle as seen on both paddle faces and both sides of the grip overlay band for each paddle. There is also simple white logo branding on each of the included pickleballs (26 grams, approximately 3” diameter) which are a neon yellow with a fairly standard hole width. The pickleballs held up pretty well over the course of play and performed as expected. All in all, this is a nice starter set of two good quality pickleball paddles and pickleballs that will cover the needs of most beginner to early intermediate pickleball players. I recommend this as a good option for getting started with pickleball as well as for expanding an existing set of equipment to cover play with friends new to the game.

I started playing pickleball last year with a generic/cheap kit. Those thin paddles were pretty slick and had a wide range of feel depending on ball placement. They also used a graphic sticker for the face that quickly got chewed up. These new thicker paddles have greatly improved texture and feel a lot better across the full face. After several days of playing they still look like new, compared to my cheap paddles with pitted faces after a day. I’ve also played with a big name $100 paddle and can’t feel a difference with these being half the price. There’s a slight variance between my paddle weights at 7.5oz (212g) and 7.7oz (218g) and I don’t know if I received the wrong item, but my box and paddles are clearly marked as 16mm instead of 14mm thick (not complaining about this free upgrade). The included balls are decent to get started and weigh at the upper limit (~26.5g) but they feel flat with less bounce than I’m used to.

My wife and I frequently play catch with each other in our fenced-in dog park along with our yellow lab. We toss a ball back and forth while the dog runs along in hope either of us will drop it. I thought a set of pickleball paddles would make our game even more fun and I was right. It takes a little practice but once you get the feel of how much force to use it's easy to underhand lob balls a good 20-25 feet away back and forth. If you're new to pickleball, the paddles are larger than ping pong paddles but hard like handball, rather than badminton. If you ever played whiffle ball with a bat, as I did as a kid, the thick, plastic pickleballs are pretty similar, if not identical, to what I remember. Best of all, if the dog gets hold of them, she can't instantly damage it before we have a chance to get it back! Bottom Line: Very well-made paddles that are durable, comfortably balanced in the hand, and easy to keep clean.
