I bought these because my feet tend to get very cold, particularly after losing weight, so I wanted a pair of thermal socks to wear around the house. I specifically looked for something that wasn’t wool, and the cotton and acrylic blend in these seemed like a good option. I like the natural colours of the set and they look nice without being overly bright or patterned. The socks are warm and comfortable, and I often wear them around the house instead of slipper socks. They’re soft rather than scratchy, and the elastic around the ankle isn’t tight or restrictive. The fit was perfect for me (UK size 7) and they stay up well without sliding down. I usually wear them over tights or a thinner pair of bamboo socks when it’s particularly cold, but they’re not so thick that you can’t wear normal shoes or boots over them. I’ve worn them out a few times and they kept my feet warm without any issues. Overall they’re good value for a three-pair pack and I get plenty of use out of them, especially during the colder months.

I had a pair of new boots that were absolutely shredding my feet. I saw these advertised and people saying they offered great support - so I thought I would give them a go. I was not disappointed! They are super soft, warm and cosy for those colder days and offer a decent amount of padding which helped wear my boots in. I am not sure how durable they will be in the future, as already some of the material is shedding off but for now they do the trick. They are quite thick, too, which is good for what I wanted but may not be ideal if your boots are a bit tighter.

These socks are fabulous. I ordered an extra lot because the fit is perfect and they are so warm. They are quite thick so perfect for wearing with boots although I actually wear them every day now it’s gone chilly. They feel soft and wash really well on a 30 degree wash. You don’t need to iron them either. These are the best winter socks I’ve ever had and although they are a bit more expensive than others they are worth every penny. You can also choose the colour combination that suits your needs.

Really nice socks! Thick and soft: lots of cushioning underfoot (a sort of terry-towel effect) which is great for wearing with work boots, as I'm on my feet all day. The cuffs are particularly good, they have enough "body" to stay up round your ankle, they don't slip down: but they don't strangle your ankles. I dislike socks that are too tight round the ankle, and leave marks: these ones don't. The colours are good, nice to have a range to choose from: they are certainly warm. My first set of 3 pairs has been in rotation since Feb (it's now April) so they seem to be lasting quite well. I have been totally ignoring the washing instructions ("hand wash only", who are they kidding? In this day and age??) and bunging them in the washing machine with everything else, and they don't seem to be suffering. They only lose one star for length: I do find that they are just a bit short. I wear them under work trousers, not "on top of tights" as so many reviewers seem to, so when the wind whistles up my trouser legs, it can get a bit cold on the ankles. About 3" longer would be nice! But in general, they are so good that I am now ordering a second set, which says it all, really!
