Cost, reliability and ease of installation.
Great product, very sturdy and well built. A nationwide automotive company that does tires, oil changes , tires etc. wanted $314.00 to replace my hood struts. I ordered this product and with the instructions provided I changed both hood struts using only a flathead screwdriver and someone to hold the hood up in less than 10 minutes. Total cost to me including tax and shipping was $35.00.

Easy to install and work great
We put these hood struts in our 2013 Ram 2500 and they work great. They were easy to install, great value for the money. Seem like they are strong and sturdy enough to hold the hood up as well as they are easy to operate.
