This was always a fav of mine. Well built and can take a licking if necessary.

Do not buy this to use out in the woods or your next camp outing. This is a piece of movie merchandise, to be displayed and kept on a shelf. This is not a hard use knife. It will break if you try to use it as one. If you try to use it to survive alone in the woods, you will die. There are plenty of real survival and bushcraft knives close to this same price point. Do your research and buy one of those. This is for fun.

No, this is not an original Jimmy Lyle. Unless you are a very rich person, of which I’ll never be, this is the next best thing to a Jimmy Lyle. They are mass produced, they aren’t perfect, I can’t get my survival kit out, but I won’t be on the run from the local police in the British Columbian mountains with nothing but this knife, either. Those days are 36 years long gone. Lol But, I don’t understand why Sly made signature pieces, but I’ll use this mfer in the field. I’ve gotten a better stone to replace the one that came with it. Anyways, it’s cool, it’s usable, go out and have fun with it, LEGALLY( for you yoyo’s that know no responsibility). It also arrived quickly.

This knife is a perfect replica! Yeh, it’s not razor sharp when you get it but for gosh sakes don’t complain about it! Use the stone that comes in the awesome sheath and sharpen it if you want! It’s worth the time. Don’t be fooled by bad reviews. If you want one, get this one!
