The best Shea Butter you will ever own is here... Run, don't walk! I've been using L’Occitane for years and I SWEAR by this butter. It's so soothing, creamy, smelling great on my skin. This is great for relieving my eczema or cracked skin and is gentle on my super sensitive skin.

Effective for very dry spots. I also use it as a protection layer on mild irritations, like when I have a cold and blowing nonstop runny nose kind of peels off the skin. Also I use it on my nails and cuticles when they're rough. I love to carry it around in my purse! Great emergency cream.

This is the original L'Occitane shea butter. No scent, no additives, just solid shea butter. It's perfect for everyone. From my personal experience: it heals chapped skin, helps burns heal quicker with less scarring, soothes dry hands and heels. I'm told folks use it in their hair to moisturize, though I've never tried it. L'Occitane has consistently been the best brand of all that I've tried. Expensive on first look, but a tin lasts forever so it's certainly worth the price.

This cream may be a good brand, but who can stay greasy all day? Getting everything dirty: their phone, their clothes, the sheets. I had to get up and remove the grease from my arms. I can't imagine the sheets and clothes being greasy and damaged. It's unrecoverable. It has good ingredients, so I'll use it for massage with my radiofrequency and ultrasound machines, for my arms and legs. Maybe it has good results because of its ingredients, but when can we use it? Going to work covered in grease? Or greasing the house, the bed? Oh, please!

I used this product for years and loved it. It is quite wonderful. But now you can purchase very high quality shea butter (organic) for one third the cost of this. I still buy L'Occitane to carry in my purse. But I've come to prefer some of the less expensive brands of shea butter. They are easier to spread and you get a POUND of shea butter for maybe $16 - compared to 5.2 ounces of this. If money is not an issue for you, then this is the product for you. Shea butter is so wonderful for your skin and hair. I put it on my hair the night before I wash it - and it is softer than a baby's butt. You do have to let it soak in - takes about ten minutes. It works wonders on cuticles as well - you can stop getting hangnails if you massage it into your cuticles. It is a fabulous face cream - you can't buy anything better. I have extremely fussy skin and it seems I'm allergic to everything under the sun. Shea butter is perfect for me. I make face creams with shea butter as a base - but shea butter alone is just fine. Another great thing: You can put it on one night and it will protect your skin for a couple of days without reapplying. I'm elderly and should be a lot more wrinkled up than I am - and I give the credit to shea butter. Why buy products that "feature" shea butter - why not just use 100% shea butter?
