This worked and held up great, good quality, strong adhesive.

This worked great for me. When I orginally mounted my dash mount (with the original adhesive), it came off almost immediately. I purchased these adhensive pads and restuck it. It's been a month now and holding strong. The pad was a bit small for my mount (I didn't research if there were different sizes), but it's still working fine.

These adhesive pads hold my phone mount securely. No issues.

Got this to reattach my dash cam because the sun dried the original suction cup out. This sounded like a great idea but, per the instructions, apply the adhesive promoter to where you would stick the new pad and let it dry for 5 minutes. The problem comes in when all 4 of the promoter packs are completely dry. I applied the pad, hoping that it stays stuck without the promoter. Edit: the seller reached out and has remedied the situation. Changing from 1 star to 4

Definitely 5 Stars. I live in MN where we get the most extreme temperature swings in all of the states. We can go from -50f in the winter to 105f in the summer. And using these on our Vantrue dash cams suction mounts, solved the problem of the suction cups failing to stay on the windshield. Instructions are easy and I would highly suggest that people actually read the instructions instead of thinking no big deal I know how to do it. Just clean the spot where you plan on putting the suction cup, clean...we used Windex....take the adhesive off, press and hold it to the windshield for about 30 seconds and then don't touch it for at least 24hrs...you have to have some patients. And bingo, we've never had a problem with our suctions cups in any or our vehicles yet, and it's been a few years. We got tired of trying everything else that we've read or watch online and those were just temporary fixes. We needed a permanent fix and these did just that. Works well, and the sturdiness is excellent. Hope this helps some people.

The suction mount on my dash cam failed, so after some research, the consensus was to use this 3M tape on the windshield instead as a more permanent solution. I followed the instructions, sterilizing the glass and providing a perfect mating surface for the adhesive. I attached the pad, gave it 24 hours to "cure," and then attached the dash cam which only weighs a few ounces. Overnight, the dash cam fell down. This is at night, with no sunlight to heat it up, and not cold at all (Colorado in summer). I am giving it 3/5 stars because it could very well be operator error. I was unable to get a flat bottomed bracket for the dash cam, so I repurposed the bad suction cup (which is not completely flat, the center part goes inward). If the seller has any suggestions to make this work, I would love to hear them as I want this to work. From what I can tell, I would need to buy a new bracket that has a flat base designed for this 3M adhesive...in which case this purchase is useless and I'm better off just buying the bracket with the included adhesive.

Have a very old dash camera, which is now on its fourth vehicle and still working. Got fed up with having to wet mounting pad to get it to stick to the windscreen. Trying these, as an alternative, and so far they are working.

They are excellent, proper 3m VHB. Apply to a cleaned surface, leave to cure 24hr, and they do not let go. My phone and mount no longer fall off over potholes.
