Like homemade
This is the best natural blackcurrant juice I’ve ordered from Amazon so far. It’s the closest to homemade blackcurrant juice. I love the thick consistency and the balance of sourness and sweetness. For me, it still works as the best natural flu remedy. The packaging fits well in the fridge, and the tap works fine.

OMG!
OMG, this is so sour! I took a big chug, expecting it to taste like a healthier version of blackcurrant cordial.... massive shock! It actually made my eyes water! I now add it to other juices that I make, which are considerably sweeter, as well as to smoothies. Really good stuff but do be warned!

Lovely fresh taste
This juice is literally what it says on the label - Blackcurrant, nothing more. I like natural drinks with as little in the way of additives as possible, so this is right up my street - I am the target audience. The natural juice really appealed to me as it's not made from concentrate and has nothing added. As I picked Blackcurrant, my expectation was that it would be a sharp sour taste, which it is! The juice has a lovely fresh smell, it just smells like blackcurrants which is lovely. There are no instructions on how to dilute this, as you can't drink it neat. I guess it just depends on individual taste. I diluted this about 1:10 as I don't like it too strong, and it is perfect for me. It's also perfect for adding to smoothies, which I think will be my main use for this juice. Personally, I like sugar in drinks (as opposed to sweeteners) so I might add some to this juice too, just to make it a bit sweeter. The flavour is excellent, but it is very tart. The product arrived very well packaged and it has a long date of 03/04/26. I think it offers good value for a multipack of natural juice and as you use it diluted, the 6 bottles will last a reasonable time. I am very pleased with my discovery.

Sour kick on aftertaste
I like Blackcurrant flavoured drinks. Even now at 42 years old I still buy Blackcurrant cordial. I had never heard of "PRESSUICE" before though, and as such it should come as no surprise that this is my first time with these specific 'Fresh Blackcurrant Nothing More Juice not from concentrate' products of theirs. The bottles are glass with metal lids that screw off and have that 'pop' sensation to them (reminds me of pasta sauce bottles for example). They arrived loosely in a cardboard box although each bottle was in it's own cardboard section. They actually arrived here yesterday in the early evening and so for me the best thing I thought to do was refrigerate them overnight and then try one in the morning. And so here we are on my second day. It's morning and I ate my breakfast a short while ago. I wanted to try one of these with a clean palate rather than mix it with my breakfast flavours. I pop open the screw top lid and honestly it smells like Ribena! That may or may not be obvious, but it is what it is. I opened, I sniffed, I thought "Ribena!" Next up is the taste-test. To me, the liquid seemed slightly thicker than water or regular cordial. It of course tastes like blackcurrant and there is indeed a very sour kick that in my opinion comes in as an aftertaste. Fortunately I happen to like sour tastes so it is a breeze for me, but in all honesty I do think it is the kind of sour that some may struggle with. If you don't like sour, I wouldn't recommend these to you at all. I liked my experiment with the bottle of "PRESSUICE Fresh Blackcurrant Nothing More Juice not from concentrate" drink this morning. I would consider it a successful experiment. I would think the big warning to others is the sour kick - there's no getting away from it really, if you like a pretty strong sour sensation then you might well enjoy these as I did. If you don't then you won't, pretty simple really. Finally the only other thing to mention is the price tag. They're currently listed at £22.69 for the six-pack. As a man who is conscious of the pennies and pounds I have to admit that I find this price to be prohibitively high for me. I enjoyed the experiment and wish the company luck but I won't be ordering again at this price point. I will contribute in my own little way though by giving a five star review. I did enjoy the drink, it was definitely different (in a good way) and lived up to it's promises and on that basis I award it five stars.

Maybe good as a mixer but way too sour for regular consumption and very very pricey
I must admit, despite being a fan of blackcurrant in berry, squash and jam form, I have never had juice produced from it, so this was definitely something I wanted to try. The listing is for 6 bottles of 250ml of pure blackcurrant juice with what seems to be no additives. The juice definitely tastes like blackcurrant... Well, ones that aren't ripe anyway and the juice that I received being exceptionally sour and with barely any sweetness. Maybe I just landed on a bad batch, however I can only go by what I received and mine just was not pleasant. I think this juice isn't really meant for normal consumption - it should likely be used either as a mixer with a spirit or as an ingredient in some recipe. At the time of writing these 6 bottles are priced at £22.69. While I can understand that a product like this is expensive to produce, the pricing frankly is extortionate and all for something that just isn't nice to drink. Overall, I was thoroughly disappointed by this product - it is expensive, you don't get much of it, it is sour and not sweet at all, with the only redeeming quality being that it is "pure", though I'm not sure how much good that does if the product ultimately is just not great.

Good tart blackcurrant drink
Extremely tart, but sweet at the same time, my girlfriend hated it, I loved it, so it's a hit or miss, it's really up to your taste.
