This safety chain is ideal for any uPVC door. If your multipoint lock is operated by lifting up the handle, the main thing to watch before fixing the main body is to make sure the metal loop around the door handle can't slip off when the handle is raised. It's a critical point and a bit fiddly to get it right, but persevere.

We decided we didn’t want to drill the frame on our new door so opted for this (the door manufacturers warranty conditions are OTT). The no scratch idea is great with one improvement suggestion, IMHO it would be even better if the loop was rubber coated to protect the door handle. Fitting isn’t too hard, drill the wall in the right place, but make sure you get it close enough so you don’t have to lift the handle to put on or remove the loop. In fact if in doubt put it a few mm closer just to make sure. Overall this is a really well made door chain which seems reassuringly strong .

Easy to install, well made, strong and solid. This one has a cover on the chain to help stop it marking the door and a small separate hook to hang the end of the door chain on when not in use. The only criticism I have is that the two screws to fix the mounting bracket on are far too long, being 6 cm. That is ridiculous. I changed them to others of 2.5 cm. Anyway, pleased I bought this one.

I needed something for my dear old dad for when he answers the door, this is perfect, easy to fit, easy to use, key release in case of emergencies. I did find it kept slipping off his door handle, but that was easily fixed with a simple rubber band on the handle to stop it slipping off. Now if only there was an easy way to get him to use it....

This chain is very sturdy and looks the part. However the fixing of it can be tricky if the door buts up to a UPVc window. I have had to drill into the tile surround of the window as there was no space by the door. The key opening makes this possible.

I purchased this for my elderly neighbour & she loves it, it was simple to install & is very strong, ideal & perfect for her needs, she is 95yrs old & can use it with no issues.

I love idea that only one side of chain need to be drilled (and it’s to the wall). It’s solid, had protection over the chain. BUT this chain is useless for handle that moves up and down.

La catena appare molto resistente, l'ho montata da settimane e fa il suo dovere. Il montaggio è poco invasivo, l'uso agevole. Peccato ha due chiavi sole. Nel complesso secondo me è un ottimo articolo, anche in considerazione del prezzo modesto.

Anclaje seguridad puerta casa, con llave, te permite abrir puerta, lo suficiente para ver, airear, etc., en caso de necesidad entrar y esta asegurado en la maneta, te permite utilizar llave, para soltarlo y poder acceder a vivienda.

Gute Qualität und schnelle Einbau

Excellent procédé qui permet de ne pas faire de trou sur la porte ! La possibilité de pouvoir déclipser la chaîne est excellente. Mon mari peut quand même rentrer à la maison malgré la chaîne et les démarcheurs ne peuvent plus mettre le pied pour empêcher de fermer la porte !
