This is a worthwhile upgrade for a great price. Personally i prefer a metal gear set as its easier to note wear and tear. It IS a little louder than factory plastic gear but it is kinda nice to hear the click and know the printer is working right from across the room. Would buy again but know I will never need to as its built to last!

This was excellently built with fine CNC machine work. Fantastic quality and they are a direct fit for my Bambu lab P1S. Haven't had any issues since installing. Very easy to install and maintain. I've put about 600 hours of use and have had zero issues. I only wish BIQU made CNC gears for the AMS feeders

Would not recommend, at least combined with BIQU,s all metal extruder. My X1C kept giving a low resonance error after installing this and experienced nonstop clogging and extruder jams. I tried everything to make it work, I preformed extensive maintenance and cleaning, I disassembled, cleaned and lubricated the tool head. I made sure everything was aligned and tightened perfectly and ran numerous calibrations and after all that the printer said the low resonance was significantly lower so I swapped it out for the stock extruder gear and the error disappeared completely. My theory is that the added weight throws everything off and when the printer senses a different resonance it thinks the belt is loose or the rods are dirty even when they’re not, I suspect it will eventually make things worse if ignored. As far as the clogging and jams, I think it’s because the all metal parts are more prone to heat creep causing the filament to become softer inside the extruder which leads to jamming and/or clogs and causing the filament cutter to become stuck. This “upgrade” caused numerous problems and that’s why I’m returning it.

My extruder was wore out. Panda Claw fixes my issue and made my printer better than ever. Been running almost nonstop since it was installed with no issues!

If you want a solid upgrade for your a1? This is the one. I researched so many and settled on this one. Do yourself a favor a buy it. Metal is way better than plastic when it comes to your extruder. Don't be like one of the people on the comments that used way too much grease and then got mad about it. Use it sparingly and it'll be alright. Take you time putting it in. Thought it doesn't take much time anyways.

Perfect fit for P1S. Bambu lab has very extensive video and article how to change this. Took me may be 1mins to do it. It comes with everything you need. Don't know how long it will last but so far so good
