Good Times Xpress Redi Set Go Cooker

I read the reviews and I'm really surprised cause I love this little machine. I have had mine for over a year and we use it every day. I'm actually about to buy a second one so I have it in my motorhome. I had the old silver one and I'll be honest I didn't care for it because everything came out in the same shape and I felt it was limiting....but the new red one with it's different pans is great! I agree that the timer is not the best...my numbers wiped off after about a week but I know where the time was so it has not been a problem. Yes it makes a popping noice when it's heating/cooking but that's how I know it's working :) I think that one of the reasons I love it so much is I only cook in the removable pans so I just remove and flip it out.... nothing ever sticks in it. I usualy use the large round removable pan any thing from cake, cookies, fried burritos, eggs, you name it and you can probably cook it in here. There is a cook book sold on here for this little machine and the recipes are easy and great. I bought one for my mother-in-law for her birthday cause she lives alone and doesn't like to cook big meals...she loves hers too. I'm sorry that people have had trouble but I wanted to be sure and leave a rave review so people can see it's wonderful!

Love this product. This is my second one - we wore the first one out. After a "lot" of use the non-stick coating wore off, but I am not complaining. This is the perfect size for an omlet for my husband. We more than got our money's worth on the first one. I was so happy to see that this product is still available. I never used the "extras" included but they look intriguing and I would expect that they will work well.

UPDATE: Over a month now since first purchase. I use it almost every day and there have been NO problems. No scratches or peeling paint etc etc. I clean it after each use and SEASON it often. I don't use the timer since it has nothing to do with on/off. And I just purchased a 2nd and 3rd. One to keep, the other as gift. This nice little gadget cooks a lot of FUN/TASTY MEALS and probably the BEST tostada maker i have ever used. I am glad I did NOT let negative reviews sway my decision to buy this product ! DELICIOUS ! I recently purchased this product mainly because I think Cathy Mitchell is a really good salesperson. I'm a tough sell but she grabbed my interest and sold me after watching the infomercial a few times. Anyhow, works well ! READ the care/instruction booklet prior to using. Then read it again. There will be a slight learning curve with timing certain meals but when you get it right - you probably won't be disappointed. A lot of the recipes I tried turned out pretty close to hers.

I purchased two.... One for the house and one for when we stay in hotels and dont wanna eat out. We love it. We have use it everyday, I have used all the attachments. I have had no problems with sticking as I spray with Pam before I use it. Also, I use the plastic spatula that came with it so I have no scratches on my cooking service. I ordered mine before I read the reviews once I read the other reviews I was worried, however I realize that not everyone uses plastic spatulas and use metals or will cut with a knife directly on a cooking service which will cause scratches. I have cooked several things on this some out of the cook book some on my own and every time it is delicious. Thinking about sending one to my family for Christmas. We have cooked raw chicken,no problems with sticking, cooked cinnamon buns, eggs, my favorite is a hot ham and cheese sandwich. Love this machine glad I got it.

I like the Redi Set Go cooker and I've read some of the reviews that complain about it not cooking. I've not had problems with that. I've used it to re-heat items, grill, and to make omelets. I purchased it from Amazon on November 16, 2010. I like that the you can replace the inserts and that you can take them out to clean them. I've replaced the insert with the split down the middle about three times because it lost it's non-stick quality. I thought this happened because I reheated creamed spinach from Boston Market in it but I don't think that this is the case. The ones I'm currently using to make omelets act like they have no non-stick left. I've been very careful with the last ones I bought. I've only used the spatula that came with the cooker. I've only used olive oil sprayed on. When I'm done making an omelet, I soak the pan in the sink with water to loosen the egg that is stuck to it. The timer button has broken now. I can still get it to work but I frequently have to put the button back on because it falls off. The top part (inside) of the cooker is impossible to clean. I wish that it came out like the bottom insert. I think that frying pan would work just as well. I'm tired of buying new inserts. The non-stick doesn't last very long. My summary: Cooks Good Non-Stick Doesn't last (especially for eggs) Cannot clean top (inside) of Cooker (stuff just builds up there)

I don't even know where to start. It's too small and of an inferior quality. The surface scratches for nothing. There is no heat adjustment so, the first time I cooked in it, my food got scorched on the outside but was absolutely raw on the inside. I cooked, or tried to cook, chicken but ended up transferring it into a pan on the stove. I did get some corn muffins to cook but they were very dried out, nothing like when I cook them in the oven. Also, cleanup is NOT as easy as advertised. Sure, the little plates are easy to clean, but the unit itself isn't. You end up having to put the whole unit in the sink and chance getting the electrical housing unit wet just to clean inside. It would be better if they had made these parts where you can pop them out. I've bought numerous cooking appliances and, until this one, didn't find a reason to send it back. This product is terrible and I do not recommend it to anyone! Don't waste you money or your time!

The Good Times Xpress Readi-Set GO is AWESOME! PERFECT for 1 or 2 people. Fast way for fixing Breakfast-Lunch-Dinner & Snacks and Dessert too. Great mini pizza cooked to please. I bought 2 of the beautiful RED cookers and did all the prep asked in the instructions. In cooking for 8 mins on some food, i noticed neither black tops were turning and come to find out, they had melted. I called Ohio customer service and the refused to help or even listen to me saying that since I bought thru Amazon I would have to deal with them. It is their product and they should want to deal with helping out. She said the only way to get fixed is to send the whole units back and that is the most stupid idea when all she had to do is send me 2 little black lids. No wonder this country is so &%^(*&^ messed up wasting time and money. Expensive to send back and out all that money without using and she could send them that would on cost Cents on the Dollar. No, just more waste and bad taste in dealing with this product maker. ONE MAD CUSTOMER OVER 2 STUPID MELTED DIALS.
