Good quality parts, installation is difficult.
These TMR sticks feel very nice once installed, and seem to perform flawlessly, at least so far. Stick tension and press-to-click are essentially indistinguishable from the stock ALPS units. No more drift! Don't take the warnings about install difficulty lightly, removing the original stick units is very difficult and if you don't know what you are doing it's quite easy to irreprably damage your controller's main board. The lead-free solder Sony uses in the Dualsense has a relatively high melting temperature, and coupled with the large metal area of the stick cage desoldering is a @#&$. A hot air rework station may make it easier, as you can heat a larger area... I was able to do it with a decent Hakko-style iron, but this is really NOT a job for novice solderers. If you've never soldered before, or don't have much experience, prepare to be very frustrated. Don't say you weren't warned!

Works great, can be an easy solder job if you're careful and learn!
Works perfectly! Feels slightly better and is supposed to be more durable (I've only them for a few months now so we'll see!) Wasn't too bad to solder, but I'd recommend learning to solder first with decent tools and on stuff you don't really care about first. My attempt at this was a little scuffed in the sense that I accidentally burned and melted the plastic close by of the left bumper ribbon cable port, and ended up having to replace and solder a new one of those back on too, lol. Can be tricky, just take your time, watch your surrounding areas while soldering to prevent melting any plastic connectors.

Best HIDDEN GEM I’ve bought for my controller!
A MUST FOR GAMERS! If you ever get tired of STICK DRIFT or just the sloppiness of your toggles and want not only a durable upgrade but a technological one as well then this is your one stop! TMR toggles are accurate no drift and recalibration is available to tune them!! Grip is amazing and fits like a glove! YOU DO NEED TO DESOLDER AND SOLDER! but a heat gun on low does the job for the inexperienced. Strong build but be wary of northern most button its brackets are a bit brittle before installation. Quality is off the hook with none of that cheap controller feel BEATS OEM BY GALAXIES!

Gold sticker to me for doing it and so far so good.
I bought a 2-pc set of these to install in a PS5 joystick that developed the dreaded "drift" problem. This also meant I spent time learning a new skill, soldering, so that I could do the work of swapping out the old bad joysticks with these new ones. A few weeks of practice on several beginner level soldering kits, along with one painful lesson on just how hot 400 deg Celsius (about 750 deg Fahrenheit) is when you clumsily graze your finger with the soldering iron, and I went to work on my PS5 controller. For me, and I think just about everybody else that I saw on YouTube, the hardest part was (1) getting the PS5 shell open, (2) de-soldering the old joysticks (I only had manual solder pump and wicking wire) to be able to remove them, and (3) being careful not to melt any adjacent cable connecters with the soldering iron because it can get a little tight to maneuver in there. But after managing all of that, soldering in these Gulikit joysticks, getting the controller back together, and using online tool to calibrate them I was all done. With my inexperience it took about 4 total hours, with the de-soldering step really taking up about half that. I've used the controller for about a month now and it's been great. The joysticks move very smoothly and I am able to move my character with really good precision. The only thing I noticed is that they don't have the same resistance as the original joysticks. What I mean is with the original joystick (made by Alps) when you start to move it, in that first 1/4" distance you can feel a little more resistance that then fades away as to continue to move the joystick farther out to the edge...hopefully I'm getting that across well enough to understand. With these Gulikit joysticks that little resistance is not there...but that's not really a knock against them, just an observation. The only knock against these, and the reason for the 4-star rating instead of 5-star, are the included thumb sticks and rubber joystick caps. In my opinion, the thumb sticks don't have as good a grippy texture as the original thumb sticks, but the included rubber joystick caps are definitely more grippy, but I just don't quite care for the star pattern design on them. But I play with them anyway and they are great...just not great to look at in my opinion. Maybe in the future they could offer some color and pattern options for the rubber caps??? An option for you if you feel the same is to simply not install the included thumb sticks, and instead just reinstall the original thumb sticks on top of the Gulikit joysticks. Now, whether these will stay calibrated and never fail or develop "drift" in the future remains to be seen. They use magnets so technically speaking they never should but only time will tell.

Amazing
I installed these joysticks on an old PS5 launch day controller and these feel fantastic! It was my first time soldering too! Yes, its not ideal as a first time project but just be patient and do your research - you'll get it done. Now my controller feels like buttah! So seamless! Looking to purchase another for my 2nd controller once these are back in stock. Thanks for making these!

Installing on a BDM-020 makes the USB-C dysfunctional and won't charge the battery
Installed on a BDM-020 PS5 Dualsense controller, used on PC with Bluetooth. The hall effect joysticks work well, but the USB-C is dysfunctional and cannot charge the battery. I'm unsure if a controller charger base will work. I've factory reset the controller throughout troubleshooting and installed a new battery. Finally tried a firmware update (A-0520) over Bluetooth with PlayStation Accessories software. The USB-C cables worked before installation (other devices still work) between my PC, wall charger, and UPS surge protector.

Me encantó realmente yo sufro mucho de drift! Ya le habia puesto unos joysticks de otra marca y se sentían horribles. Le di una última oportunidad a mi control de PS5 y ufff! Estoy fascinado.

Ze doen wat ze moeten doen. Het kalibreren was ook totaal niet moeilijk. Zeer blij met dit product!

Works great. A bit expensive but still better than buying a new controller. The movement is smoother with this. Takes time to adjust to the joystick movement with such low resistance. Don't forget to calibrate it with the online website
