This works perfect on any copper line that is American standard size, will not work on metric copper lines. It works perfectly.

Used plastic cores to make some greater than 90 degree bends on mini-split refrigerant lines. No kinks. This is a life (and stress) saver. Two tips: 1) after making the bend, “open” the bend a little to unbind the core allowing you to pull it out more easily, 2) doing multiple tight bends at once will make it more difficult to remove the core, so do one bend at a time and pull the core down the next area to be bent.

I had a professional put in one of my mini-splits. They kinked the line and found out later. That cost me about $300.I put the next one in use; these line sets are perfect. One thing that I learned is bend one pull bend. I did the first one, all the bends, that was a mistake. If you don’t, it’s almost impossible to pull through

This product may seem like a gimmick but it will keep your copper refrigerant lines from collapsing when you are bending them and as expensive as copper refrigerant lines are it was a small investment, used on a DYi mini split ac installation.
