These are nice looking hinges - however, we are not so sure about the "adjustable" feature. They are adjustable as advertised, but they "adjust" every time our gate opens or closes causing the gate to drag after opening and closing more than a few times. We are going to exchange these out with permanently fixed heavy duty gate hinges. Follow Up - The customer service from Hotyell is a 10! They were great to work with and I cannot express enough how appreciative I am with their resolution to my issue, and I didn't even ask for a solution - they just offered. Thank you, Hotyell!

These are built very heavy and they are larger than I was expecting. The bearings make them silky smooth too. If you get them welded up right, your gate will close itself. They are a little pricey at $50, but knowing they won't go bad on you is worth a lot as you weld them on . . . I will probably add a rain shield to keep any water from collecting on top of the bearing. I like them.

Very heavy duty hinge. Comes with all the hardware just need to weld it to the frame and the door. Makes adding a gate in the fence fairly straight forward

These are extremely heavy hinges which will hold a very heave gate. Especially useful for automatic gates since they rotate so smoothly with no noticeable friction. The are also slightly adjustable horizontally for a perfectly level installation. I am a big fan of these hinges. They are far better quality than I expected at this price and I am incredibly pleased with their functionality. They're perfect for large metal gates and they do great outside due to them having sealed bearings. Installation difficulty will largely depend on your skill set with a welder but it's a simple affair if you know what you're doing. These are good option for a gate. Great product. If your looking for quality smooth hinges for a custom project. Spend the money and invest in something like these. I had a friend weld them up to a frame I had fabricated and I added holes and bolted them to my 6x6 steel post but they could be welded bothe sides if you so choose. I suspended 560lbs on them for a test and no issues I'd add double that if I needed to. Very smooth under weight with the multiple bearings.

This hinge is heavy duty. It's even adjustable to help align the gate. Great hinge for the price.

Solid, well designed hinge. Big sealed ball bearings are good quality (2 per hinge), adjustability is easy and effective. Paint on them is really just a quick rattle can job, but that mostly gets worn away when you weld them. (remove the bearings before welding, you could melt the bearing caps, and they’re super easy to get out with an internal c-clip plier) Finish is rough, but when they work this good that doesn’t really matter for most applications. Good value for the cost.
