I pretty much wore this hat for 4 days straight, 12 or more hours at a time, in 90-degree weather. It was very cool, lightweight and comfortable on my head - I barely even remembered it was there most of the time. The ponytail hole helped keep my hair off of my neck, which also helped keep me very comfortable even though I was working in the full sun for hours at a time each day. I loved that my face and neck (front and back) were both fully protected without having to reapply sunscreen on them over and over. The chin strap helped keep it in place without being annoying. The brim is perfect - sturdy enough that it doesn't flop into your face or bend weirdly, but flexible enough that it frames your face and neck so that they are protected from the sun at most angles. It also snaps out of the way on the sides, but I didn't use this feature and couldn't say how the snaps might hold up over time. The overall quality of the hat seems very good for the way I will be using it, and I feel like it will hold up well. It also looks nice!
