I've had this for almost a year and my two cats still haven't gotten tired of it. It's great exercise and mental stimulation for them. When I get some more space, I'm planning on getting another one and creating one super long track for them. Battery life is surprisingly good. It's a lot of fun to watch them chase it around! Also, it automatically turns off after 10 minutes or so, and will turn back on maybe 10-20 minutes later, so the cats don't burn out and lose interest. It's a great feature Highly recommend!

We received the AsFrost interactive cat toy today and am highly impressed! —Per the instructions, we immediately charged the motor using the charging cord provided in the box, which we plugged into our own USB charger. —The charging cord is a nice quality braided cord. —Motor arrived mostly charged, so it only took approx. 15 min to fully charge and for the charging light to turn green. —Set up of the unit was easy. We set it up around our dining room table, which allows our cat (4 yrs old) to use the table chairs to hide/stalk the toy but yet has plenty of room to run around the table chasing down the toy. —The rope is soft and if our cat lays on it, both the toy/rope stop moving, so there’s no risk of him getting hurt/entangled in it. —The toy makes a mouse sound, which we initially kept on to entice our cat from another room, however, it can be turned off, if desired. We have since turned off the sound as once our cat was engaged in playing with the toy, he was then indifferent to the sound. —Our cat was a little apprehensive at first (always is with anything new) but after a few minutes, he became so excited/engaged with this toy and began chasing it around and talking to it. —I like that it has 3 different speeds. We started him off at the slow (walk) speed, which I would say is more like power walking and he took to this toy unlike any other interactive toy he’s played with. —The motor is quiet, so when they play with it at night, it does NOT disrupt our sleep. ;) —The toy runs for 15 min and then shuts off. Once it shut off, he still pounced/played with the feather toy, all the while chatting up a storm. He continued to paw at the feather toy in hopes to revive it and even walked up to the motor inquisitively trying to see how to turn it back on (yep, he’s a smart one). We intend on turning this on in the morning before we leave for work, midday (on the days we WFH) and at night before bedtime—to release his energy, exercise him and hopefully aid in a restful daytime nap/night’s sleep. Overall: excellent toy for indoor cats and is unique in its design (never saw anything like this before). Highly engaging/entertaining for our cat and even found it fun/entertaining to watch his excitement as he played with it. Our cat gives it four paws up!!

Great product! This is day 2 of my fluff boy playing with the setup. I only used three of the anchors to confine the toy to a small space. The instructions for setup were basically nonexistent, I ended up finding a YouTube video on it just to make sure I put it together right. I also was a bit hesitant of leaving my cat with it unattended at first because of the rope attachment. He likes to pull at rope and I didn't want the risk of it coming undone and him swallowing the rope. I just monitored his play the first day but I genuinely think it safe now, just check the string often. This also could've been a bit more affordable ~$35-45. Cons: Price, Insecure rope attachment, Setup instructions Pros: Cat Fun, Hands off, Self-timer

Under normal circumstances I would not consider myself a person who'd shop at this price point for my cat's entertainment.... However, this device turns out to be pure *gold*, and whoever designed it is some kind of genius. Even if it broke tomorrow, I'd still consider I'd gotten my money's worth. This really is a STEM kit for cats, if yours is of a persuasion like mine with above-the-median intelligence. She LOVED chasing this thing from the very first run of it, and was NOT satisfied with honoring the 15-minute limit on play time (Note: she's 18 months old). I was 'asked' to restart the clock 3 times in a row. By the fourth run, she was investigating each or the other pulley joint, trying to figure out how it worked. On Day 2, she realized she can press on the string to slow down the bait -- thereby discovering the law of friction -- and seemed to enjoy the feel of the string running under her claws. It took about 6 days of *constant* obsession with this toy for her to finally have a day of expressing nonchalance. So now I try to make it disappear for a couple days before bringing it back out. As of 1½ months later, she is still enthralled once I set it up again, will watch patiently/curiously as I configure a new convoluted route around the furniture, and then will play/pounce/tackle happily for 45 min or more (ie, if I cave and restart the time-clock again & again). For the human: Honestly it was just really, really cool to watch an animal (& fur friend) use her mental cognition to actively interrogate a puzzle and experiment with different tactics.... and get better at it. For the feline: with this self-taught friction trick, it may be the first & only time in her short life in which *she* gets to control the gameplay. No lie, I think I witnessed joy. I'd give it 11 stars if I could.

We’ve only had it 2 days, but it’s SO GREAT! We have 5 cats, 3 of which are Savannah cats and need a lot of physical and mental stimulation. This is the first toy to keep their attention and excite all 5 cats. They LOVE it. Set up is easy and delivery was quick. If anything changes in the future, I’ll update. In the video I’m only using 3 of the bases instead of all 4. I put it in a smaller area and didn’t need all 4. This was also right when we got it so they were still getting used to it.
