Awkward to handle
Yes, the quality of the materials is great but manufacturer might want to re-think the design. The windshield of the 2022 HR-V is huge so this one-piece sun shield is equally huge. It was so hard to re-fold and get it back into the storage pouch. I solved this problem by cutting it in half vertically and hemmed the cut edges. I added velcro strips (hook on one side, loops on the other side) to extend horizontally from the top edge at center front corners. Marked each panel "R" and "L" with a white sharpie on the back. Now I can put up the right and left sides individually and velcro them together. So easy! Folding them individually is so much easier too now when it is time to put them in the bag. I still have my passenger get out first since it is still hazardous for them when I am folding down even half the screen. The shape of the screen is perfect for the HR-V though and no generic sun screen will work as well.
