WORKS AS EXPECTED.

I had to re-cault my own rental kitchen sink only 8 months after the plumber did it using DAP that was not 100% silicone. I'm a woman who has never caulked anything before in her life. The hardest part was removing the old caulk. One thing you need to know is that the fumes from this product are intense. Because there were some huge gaps I had to fill, the fumes lingered for about 4-5 days afterward and I wiped the area every time I ran water because I felt that the job hadn't cured yet if there were still fumes. After 2 weeks, I performed a touch-up, putting more caulk on top to seal tiny gaps that had formed. All in all, this appears to be a really good product, but I think that next time caulk, I will get a caulk gun. I had to use 3 of these small tubes for my job and squeezing them isn't the best way to get an even bead, especially as the tube runs low.

Of all of the caulking products that I have tried, this is the best by far! I applied the product two months ago to about half of my tub, where it was needed. The small tube that I bought likely would have completed the tub, but it was not necessary. I am hoping that the lid it came with prevents it from drying out over time. (Actually, I could probably apply it now to other areas in need, such as around the window to better seal cracks.) The caulk has held up well against frequent contact with water (shower / tub). There are no visible signs of wear. When I need caulk again, I will definitely want to look for and purchase this product again. As long as you clean up before it dries, it is not terribly difficult to clean off. It is a bit more difficult to clean than poorer quality caulk, but soap and warm water does do the trick. Great stuff! And not terribly expensive, given the quality and expected sustainable quality.

Great caulking but a very small amount of it. If you need to caulk around your bathtub you will need at least 2 tubes. First quarter of an inch that came out of the tube was clear but the whole rest was white. The silicone caulking is not easy to work with in general, this one is as good as it gets.

I ordered white. I prepped everything that I wanted to caulk white. Then, I cut the tip and applied on the spot in the tub that I wanted to caulk white. Boy was I surprised when it came out and dried CLEAR. Very disappointed. I really needed white. I read some reviews, then I realized maybe it turns white after you open it. So, I massaged the tube and reapplied the caulk. Voila, it's white. GE should tell customers that when you first open the caulk, it is clear, then after time the caulk in the tube will come out white. Success.

Caulk, hate applying it, but it does work well and looks good. Same is true for this. Pain to apply and spread, but then it’s done and dry, looks good and is holding up.
