DOME GLASS Whitestone AR Privacy Screen Protector for iPhone 16 Pro

This screen protector works great and the privacy feature really does its job—no one can see my screen unless they’re right in front of it. It went on smoothly and looks clean. Very happy with it!

Due to the Anker privacy screen protectors not being available I decided to give Whitestone a try. worst screen protector ever purchased. this is not an exaggeration. the screen (or maybe the coating) scratches very easily. I'm at two weeks in with it installed and the screen protector looks rough. normal day to day use in an office/work environment. the worst part? I cant even register my product on the Whitestone site as this SKU is not listed for the iPhone... which means I cant submit a replacement request.

The best privacy screen money can buy. These Korean made screen protectors are just perfect. From the moment you install it - air bubbles easy to slide off to the side, perfect fitment with the use of the installation frame, and positive adherance to the phone - you'll know you got a good screen protector. (If the air bubbles are stubborn just put the installation frame back on and put a nail between the screen and phone and pull up. Then use the dust removal stickers to stick onto the mating surfaces and pull off a few times. Then mate the surfaces again. Hopefully you get no air bubbles and they only happen if there are contaminating particles.) As for the actual privacy aspect, if you're looking below 45 degrees to the screen, you wont be able to read anything. At 45 degrees you can see half the screen, but not the other half. The screen seems durable, and pretty scratch resistant. It has a rather slippery, smooth surface that feels really nice to tap on, and doesnt slow down your typing at all. Whatever smudges gather is easily wiped off, unlike the factory screen that gathers a thick stubborn layer every time. Overall this screen protector elevates my experience using my phone.

Initially, I was very impressed with the DOME GLASS Whitestone AR Privacy Screen Protector for my iPhone 16 Pro. Installation was straightforward, and the privacy filter worked exactly as advertised—clear when viewed straight on and effectively obscured from side angles. However, everything changed once I put my case back on. As soon as I pushed the rubber sides of my case over the phone, the volume and silence button areas caused the screen protector to shift ever so slightly. This movement led to bubbles forming underneath the glass. I tried repositioning it multiple times—left, right, even reapplying entirely—but no matter what, the bubbles would always return on one side or the other. Without a case, the screen protector performs beautifully. But with a case? It’s a constant struggle. For a premium-priced product, I expected more compatibility and less hassle. Unfortunately, unless you plan to use your phone caseless (which I don’t recommend), this screen protector may not be worth the frustration.

I got this privacy screen for my phone and it was not real hard to install like some of the older ones. This is a privacy screen so people around you are not able to see your phone screen. There is only one screen included and I feel like they could’ve added a second one for any mistakes you might’ve made or to have a spare around.

I purchased the DOME GLASS Whitestone AR Privacy Screen Protector for my daughter’s iPhone 16 Pro, and while it offers solid protection, there are a few drawbacks worth mentioning. The installation was a bit tricky, but once in place, there were no cracks or bubbles initially. The privacy feature works well, though it’s a bit darker than expected, which can affect visibility in low light. Unfortunately, once we added her OtterBox case, the edges of the screen protector started to lift, especially near the bottom. This caused a large air bubble to appear that only disappears when the case is removed. So while the protector is still safeguarding the screen, it’s not a great fit with cases that wrap tightly around the screen edges. Overall, it’s durable and protective, and has held up well for a teenager’s phone — but if you’re using a snug, rugged case like OtterBox, you may run into compatibility issues.

I originally installed a screen protector that came with my phone case, but it had some bubbles in it that I could not get out, so I tried this one. Installation was pretty easy and it did have a few bubbles but I was able to push them all out. Except for one at first, but I lifted the screen protector and used a toothpick to get the dust particle I could see, and that worked, and then the screen protector went back down. I again had a couple of air bubbles to work out but they did come out. So overall it was fairly easy to get installed without any bubbles. The screen itself seems like good quality and that it will protect my phone. The privacy screen works at side angles but up and down angles you still see everything. Which is fine but just FYI. I like the feel of this screen protector as it is pretty smooth to the touch. I am very happy with it.

Very easy to install. Package came with everything needed for a smooth fit. I had the new protector on in less than two minutes. The protector fit well and looks great. It’s also on the thicker side so I feel safe in the protection since I have a habit of dropping my phone and feel like it will absorb a lot of the shock if not all. I would like to point out that this has a, don’t look over my shoulder feature, that some may not like. You must look at your phone directly because if you look at the phone at an angle, you won’t be able to view screen. It’s great for people looking over your shoulder but if you are trying to far away glance, you may not be able to see what’s on the screen.
