Elegoo Matt is my go to filament of choice. It prints amazingly in my Bambu X1C with very few print failures. Things it does great at. Bed adhesion - I have never had to worry about first layer issues with this stuff, if anything it manages to stick just a little too well, needing a little patience for it to cool before removing from the plate. Colour matching - I've bought quite a few rolls of similar colours are various time intervals over the last year or so since I started using it. The colours seem to match excellently with little variance. Whilst I'm reviewing the black and white here, I have quite a lot of the colour option and the same goes for all of them. It's my go to filament.

I bought the ELEGOO Matte PLA in a 4-pack deal, and for the price, it’s great value. The print quality is solid, with smooth extrusion and no major issues. One thing I noticed is that it comes out a bit shinier than other matte PLAs I’ve used. This could be down to my printer settings, so some adjustments might help get a more matte finish. Overall, it’s a good filament, especially if you buy in bulk. If you’re after a true matte look, you might need to tweak your settings, but for the price, it’s worth trying.

Perfect wood colour filament

Being relatively new to 3D printing I didn't want to spend a fortune on filament, for much of it to go in the bin through failed prints. I have thrown away almost full spools from another company because the filament was so inconsistent - stringing and breaking randomly. This Elegoo filament is fantastic. Straight off with my printer's auto level settings, this produces quality prints. Once I see that the first layer is going down well, I feel confident enough to leave the machine to its own devices and monitor through the app. Although described as matte, I would say it has a smooth finish rather than a glossy one. I've already ordered another double pack, as Amazon has a great promotion on - It has to be said that I'd still be buying without the promotion.

J'ai testé énormément de filaments, mais ce PLA Matte Noir de chez ELEGOO est une véritable révélation ! Si vous cherchez un rendu ultra-qualitatif qui fait instantanément "produit fini" et professionnel, ne cherchez plus. Voici pourquoi ce filament est devenu mon indispensable absolu : Rendu esthétique incroyable : Le noir est profond, d'un mat parfait et totalement uniforme. Il masque superbement les lignes de couche (layers). Les pièces imprimées n'ont pas cet aspect "plastique brillant" habituel ; on dirait de l'injection plastique haut de gamme ou une pièce usinée. C'est parfait pour les projets fonctionnels, le prototypage ou les objets design. Facilité d'impression déconcertante : Il s'imprime comme un charme. Aucune galère de warping (décollement), une excellente adhérence au plateau et entre les couches. L'enroulement de la bobine est impeccable (pas de nœuds), ce qui permet de lancer de longues impressions les yeux fermés. Zéro stringing : Même sur des géométries complexes ou des pièces avec beaucoup de rétractations, le résultat est d'une propreté chirurgicale. Pas de petits cheveux d'ange à nettoyer post-impression. Rapport qualité/prix imbattable : ELEGOO frappe très fort. Avoir une telle constance dans le diamètre et une telle qualité de finition à ce prix-là, c'est tout simplement bluffant. En résumé : Un filament fiable, tolérant et qui sublimera toutes vos impressions 3D. Je recommande les yeux fermés et je vais commander à nouveau sans hésiter. Foncez !

Ich habe das ELEGOO Matte PLA in Marineblau ausprobiert und bin insgesamt sehr zufrieden mit dem Ergebnis. Die Farbe ist wirklich schön – ein tiefes, edles Blau mit einer matten Oberfläche, die den gedruckten Objekten einen hochwertigen Look verleiht. Gerade bei dekorativen oder sichtbaren Teilen sieht das deutlich professioneller aus als glänzendes Standard-PLA. Das Filament kam sauber aufgespult und gut verpackt an. Die Druckeigenschaften sind einwandfrei – kein Verstopfen, kein Stringing, und die Layer haften sauber aufeinander. Die Maßgenauigkeit scheint tatsächlich sehr stabil zu sein, meine Drucke sind maßhaltig und passgenau, auch bei mechanischen Teilen. Ich drucke auf einem Bambu Lab X1C, und mit den Standard-PLA-Settings läuft es problemlos. Besonders gut gefällt mir die matte Oberfläche – sie kaschiert kleine Druckfehler besser und fühlt sich angenehm an. Einziger kleiner Nachteil: Die erste Schicht haftet minimal schlechter als bei glänzendem PLA, aber mit leicht angepasstem Z-Offset ist das kein Problem. Fazit: Ein tolles PLA-Filament mit mattem Finish und starker Druckqualität. Ich werde es definitiv wieder bestellen – auch in anderen Farben!

I took a chance and ordered this because I needed something similar in color to Bambu Labs Matte Lilac Purple and I needed it quick and in a hurry. I ran out printing my impatient 9yo daughter an axolotl and since this is one of her fav colors, and BL shipments can range anywhere from 3 days to over a wk, I went this route. I've had really good results with Elegoos neon green PLA+ in the past so I took the chance here, and it paid off! It's nearly identical in color and prints with the exact same settings as the BL matte pla on my BL printers. The neon green did as well. Both have a good deep color saturation and layer lines on her axolotl are almost nonexistent besides the top of the head. I printed the axolotl with a .6 nozzle and I'm sure I could've done more with the variable layer lines but its good enough for us. She's happy so I'm happy. The wife liked the color so much she has me printing her a Stanley cup chapstick holder as we speak, haha. No issues in the AMS either though I will print some spool rings eventually. No issues with snags or serious bends in the cardboard spools binding up the AMS. Fits nice and tight on the A1 Minis AMS Lite as well if anyone was wondering. I did dry it before use but I believe it would've been just fine out of the box. 10 out of 10 will buy again. I'll add a cpl pix of prints in the green as well. FYI: The purple pairs well with my daughters 2nd fav color, hot pink. Haha

Costanza di diametro: estrusione regolare e precisa, nessun under-extrusion o intasamento anche in stampe lunghe. Ottima adesione al piatto: con piatto a 60 °C il primo layer aderisce bene e il warping è praticamente assente. Colore uniforme: il blu ghiaccio è molto elegante e resta identico dal primo all’ultimo metro di filamento. Bobina ben confezionata: sigillata sottovuoto con essiccante, il filamento arriva perfettamente asciutto. 👎 Cosa migliorerei Fragilità tipica del PLA opaco: rispetto a un PLA+ tradizionale è un po’ più rigido, quindi meno indicato per parti che subiscono urti. Temperatura precisa necessaria: per la migliore resa va stampato a 200-205 °C, se troppo caldo perde un po’ di opacità. 🧪 Esperienza personale L’ho usato per stampare supporti per elettronica e parti estetiche per un case di progetto: il risultato è stato eccellente, con superfici omogenee e dall’aspetto satinato. Anche a layer 0,2 mm e velocità 60 mm/s la qualità è molto alta. Non ho avuto problemi di stringing e la bobina si è svolta senza intoppi fino alla fine. 💡 Consigli per altri utenti Se volete il massimo effetto opaco, stampate con ventola al 100 % e velocità moderata (40-50 mm/s).
