Perfect for Widow's Walk renovation project
I needed to renovate a widow's walk porch on a turn-of-the-previous-century Victorian and this rubber worked perfectly. Tore it all apart, covered the original tin & tar "roof" with plywood at a 3ยฐ slope, laid this out and used a water-based acrylic cement to glue it down. The most inconvenient part was the weight--this is heavy rubber. But it rolled out very smoothly (be sure to let it "rest" for a day or so to get any creases from shipping out). Used contact cement around the edges and it's been leak-proof through a half dozen thunderstorms thus far. I got the 60-mil as I plan to build a wooden deck on top of it to keep foot traffic off the EPDM. It's thicker than I was anticipating and I imagine 40 would work great for anything that isn't going to have people on it.
