I absolutely love this wall-mounted paper towel holder! It looks sleek and modern, and the stainless steel finish instantly elevates my kitchen. It’s super sturdy, holds the roll perfectly, and the tear-off is smooth every time with just one hand. Installation was quick and easy, and it saves so much counter space. Definitely worth it if you want something stylish, durable, and practical!

This is a very good quality item. We bought it to replace a standing holder because we are trying to remove items and clutter from our countertops. This holder fit the bill very well. The size is perfect for US standard size paper towel holders. What I love most about it is the high quality stainless steel look and the fact that you can tear one sheet of paper at a time without worrying the roll will continue to unravel. The material is sturdy and thick. I anticipate it will be durable, but I will come back some time later to comment if my forecast is wrong. It seems very well manufactured with quality materials. My husband installed it in 10 minutes, and he drilled holes under the cabinet to do so. One cautionary note though: if you decide to drill to install this item, please verify that the screws that come with the package are shorter than your cabinet's shelf thickness. Our cabinets are made of old oak, and the shelves are made of solid thick oak as well. Modern cabinet shelves may be thinner. All, in all, I totally recommend this paper towel holder, to remove clutter from my counter and to dispense the desired number of sheets with no hassle.

I liked most everything about this paper towel holder. It has the proper amount of spring resistance, allowing one-handed dispensing of one or multiple sheets of perforated paper towels. Construction seems strong and well-made, and the overall appearance is modern and pleasing. And it's easy to replace the paper towel with the quick-release knob. The only problems I encountered were during installation. The angles that should have been exactly 90-degrees were slightly off, such that when installing the holder correctly under an overhanging level cabinet, the towel rod wasn't quite parallel with the bottom of the cabinet. I considered trying to bend the mounting bracket slightly, but thought better of it, as it is cast metal and it would be probably break if too much pressure was applied. I ended up adding a couple of flat washers between the holder base and the cabinet as shims at the single extreme end mounting screw to correct the angle; this solved the problem and isn't noticeable, as the the towel holder is below eye-level when looking from the front of cabinet. One other minor issue... the supplied wood screws were a tad long, and would have poked into the interior of the cabinet, so I had to purchase some shorter screws to avoid that problem. It would have been convenient if the manufacturer supplied several different length sets of mounting screws to accommodate a variety of typical installations. Overall I'm satisfied and would purchase it again, based on the product quality.

It's still very new but so far it works great and looks nice. The regulator allows it to roll easily enough but has enough tension that you can tear the towels off with one hand. I wouldn't call it decorative, but it helps to accomplish my objective to clear clutter from my kitchen counters. I have it mounted under the cabinets over my kitchen sink, which is convenient, but which required that I purchase some half inch screws for the installation because the ones included would have gone through the bottom of the shelf and be sticking out the other side. The included screws and plastic anchors would probably work well if you were mounting it to a wall.

The holder definitely deserves 5 stars as it is nicely made and I like its features. Since I was mounting it under a cabinet I wanted to make sure it had at least 3 screws for mounting so that it would be secure and not loosen up. I also like the mechanism by which the paper towel is kept in place - I didn't want to deal with something that allowed the role to potentially fall off. It is possible to draw off one sheet using just one hand, but that really wasn't a feature that was that important to me. There is a piece of flexed metal that provides some resistance so that the roll does not spin freely, but the resistance does NOT interfere with drawing off more than one sheet at a time. I did dock this one star because of the instructions. There is no template to use for marking where to drill holes for mounting this. The base is somewhat triangular in shape, and the front screw is offset relative to the rear screws - which I completely understand why. I realized I had to make my own template by outlining the base, in order to determine where to drill so that the towel bar would be centered when mounted - unfortunately I did not think of this until a few misguided drill holes were made by me.

This is the absolutely best paper towel holder in existence. No longer feeling frustration when pulling a paper towel off the holder and the holder springs open and there goes the entire roll of towels onto the countertop. Extremely sturdy, a snap to put on a new roll. Maybe a tad pricier than others but still well worth it. Simplehuman knows its business, high quality products every time.

This was my second order and I didn't realise the first short version was very short. This is the long version and still a little short so there is no traction but does the job. Easy to install. Looks good and takes the larger size paper towels. Would recommend.

This is a great dispenser and fits the large rolls of paper towel from Costco. So good I bought my daughter one too!

It seems ridiculous to rave about a paper towel holder, but this is seriously the best paper towel holder I have purchased. I bought this from Amazon in February of this year, as it was showing out of stock on Simplehuman's own website at the time. While the price is definitely on the higher end for a holder, it wasn't too outrageous, and it actually functions exactly as it should. It has a nice resistance to the bar, not too much so you rip your towels in half, but enough to slow the pull so you can tear off just one towel at a time. It's really easy and fast to change the towel when you run out, and it's easy to wipe down. It's not a huge profile, but it does comfortably fit the large double roll paper towels without any squeezing. I have mine installed horizontally above my kitchen sink, using the screws and drywall anchors that came with it, and it is secured nicely even after months of daily use. I highly recommend for anyone looking for a reliable wall-mount towel holder.

Für mich der schönste Küchenrollenhalter den man bei Amazon finden kann, wie von den anderen Käufern schon erwähnt, leider etwas zu lang für europäische Küchenrollen. Sehr variabel zu montieren (Wand oder Oberschrankmontage), habe die länge mal so belassen, wenn es mich stört kann ich immer noch kürzen ;-) Ich kann den Halter mit ruhigem Gewissen weiter empfehlen, deshalb 5 Sterne^^ P.S.: Danke Dieter T. für die tolle Beschreibung zum Kürzen des Halters ;-)
