Great first kit
My son has really been into claymation lately, and he wanted to create a model with the metal skeleton and we came across this one. Most of the ones I saw online are really expensive until I came upon this one. It was a little hard to build at first, but he eventually got the hang of it. Definitely do need to buy some crazy glue though for the ball pieces. I think it was a great first kit for my 9 year old.

Hard assembly but worth it
I bought this for making stop motion animation. The assembly was challenging and the instructions could be a little more detailed and the parts could be numbered. However, the video helped. It’s really sturdy and fun to work with. You can adjust how tight the joints move with the tools. This puppet is the best.

Buy super glue first!
It’s a good product for a first go at animation. Higher end armatures are so much more expensive that even though this one is not dirt cheap it’s still a good place to start. But make sure you buy a TON of super glue before you even open the box. The puppet will be impossible to animate if you don’t glue all the balls joints in.

Great once built, check size (all are same price)
Tasking to build. A bit pricey. But the outcome is perfect for stop-motion animation! Also all the different sizes are the same price, so double-check when purchasing (especially a second or more of the armatures)

Stop motion photography
Amazing product! My son’s (15) first steps into stop motions photography. Next is to wrap with clay and start filming. Keep up the great work with your products and projects! We will be purchasing more...

Great little armature
Love it wish it came with more parts to make adding to the humanoid form a bit easier. But that's what the wires for. For the price great deal

Hard to put together, bad movements
Difficult to put together and requires a considerable amount of force to do anything, which throws all the other movements off. Can barely stand up. don't buy.

Neat, but needs more spare parts.
I ordered this with the intention of making an off-model armature for some non-professional animation tests, but if you don't want to do that, you may wish to look elsewhere. I wasn't expecting fantastic results since this was shipping straight from China, but fortunately most of the parts are fairly standard M4 rod and balls. The instructions are a bit too concise, but with some patience, you'll figure it out. Anyway, if you buy this, remember to buy superglue beforehand because none is provided and it is absolutely necessary to have a long-lasting joint. Also not mentioned in the description is the fact that a wrench is vital for fine-tuning the joints in conjunction with the screwdriver There are some quality control issues with this particular set, most notably that in mine, the screws/nylock nuts were defective in two joints, so I had to salvage those two joinst together to make one, leaving me without one functional joint(but again, I was going off-model anyway so I didn't need that foot). They do provide some spare parts, but they are all balls, which as I had previously mentioned, I wasn't lacking. To supplement this, I'd recommend getting some square brass tubing with which to mount hands and heads. Despite the previously-listed issues, I would probably get this again for making more complex puppets, and when properly assembled and tuned, it appears to be fairly durable.

The armature is ok for my stop motion videos however there are no feet tie downs, I had to make my own also the forearm and neck pieces were incorrect.
