can you make it cycle through colors?

It's "variable color illumination", meaning you can adjust and customize the colors to make them the colors you want. They don't cycle. You choose or customize a color for the "display", and another color for the "key" color (surround and button color), for a pleasing color combo. Or make it all one color if you want. Once they're set, they stay that way, unless you change them, or disconnect the radio from power. Then you have to re-set the colors again. I've chosen an orange/red color for my "display" and blue for the "key" color, since I like that combo.

does it have rca inputs for subwoofer/amp?

Yes it does. It has outputs for 2 speaker amps and 1 subwoofer amp.

Is this unit compatible with Bluetooth version 5.1?

Yes mine had Bluetooth usability. But not great sometimes difficult to initiate
