Dell 8960 tower arrived in original Dell box. Tower was exactly as described by vendor. Good price, fast delivery.

Be aware if you purchase from Ultra Computers. Under the main description it says “visit the Dell Store” well, the dell store isn’t selling this computer. Ultra Computers is, and I bought this, which I was under the impression by their description so I bought it and 4 hours after I had it, it wouldn’t run a simple Truck simulator game, and that is because the power supply is only 400 watts, and the onboard video adapter is low end also. Plus Ultra computer has the audacity to sell this piece for $2099 plus $125 tax. Plus if you want to return it after not even 8 hours, they charge an outrageous 30% restocking fee which they say is their policy, but it is nowhere to be found, and you know why? Because no one in their right mind would buy anything, especially an electronic component when the seller holds you up for 30% restocking fee. And as far as their video is concerned, here is an Overview of it. Intel UHD Graphics 770 (Alder Lake) GPU - Benchmarks The Intel UHD Graphics 770 is an integrated graphics processor (IGP) found in some Intel processors. It's a mainstream level GPU, suitable for BASIC tasks and some LIGHT GAMING, but not for demanding titles or high resolutions. But don’t let me persuade anyone, my review here is to inform you so you can make sure your criteria aligns with what this rig has. UPDATE! The seller Ultra Computers is charging me $630 to restock a low end piece plus $70 to ship it back. 400 watt power supply, most gaming games require at least 600 watts. I just hope I don’t get pregnant after this.

I'm not sure yet about this computer. I have become accustomed to using an AIO, so the sheer size is going to take some getting used to. But what concerns me the most is that the fan comes on SO loudly so often. I am not a gamer, and I currently have my browser open and one app (Silhouette Studio) running, and the fan cycles on for several minutes, off for a few, back on, and it is so loud that it actually startles me. I have to turn up the volume of any music or tv when the fan cycles on. It was incredibly easy to set up and begin using, nothing weird or different from setting up another new computer. I like the feel of the keyboard's keys. I do not like the shape of the mouse (I prefer the erognomic feel of my logitech mouse), and it seems so weird to me that both the keyboard and mouse are wired... but I guess it'll be an easy matter to just use my logitech wireless keyboard and mouse, so no big whoop.

It exceeded my expectations since they sent me a platinum color instead of black, which I much prefer. The hardware was exactly as advertised. There isn't anything in the box to help with the install, but I guess that's all online these days. I also moved a 2TB disk drive from my old computer into this new machine, and it was super easy. I rated 4 stars since there is little help with a migration. This might be par for the course, but too bad it can't be as easy as buying a new Iphone. My previous system was a Dell XPS 8300. Super nice computer overall.

Hard Drive died in 11 months and Ultra Computers says it is out of warranty.

The onboard video card is terrible. I had to upgrade to a Nvidia card to even get it to do simple graphics. I thought Dell was a good company but I guess those days are long gone.
