That the tubes are smaller that I thought. Price is high. Bigger tubes found in stores are the same price but in a double quantity

This is a cool way to keep and dispense mayonnaise. The tube is metal, and has a screw-off cap, with a plastic , tamper- evident ring on the neck. I took off a star because the mayo is not sealed in any way, other than this plastic ring. When I opened it, there was no resistance or sound that made it clear the plastic ring was never opened. Then, seeing it has no tab or seal on the inside always makes me uneasy. I also feel the price is a little high for the amount you get, HOWEVER, if you are from Germany, or any country that commonly sells this brand and miss the particular flavor, to me, the price would be quite doable for a taste of nostalgia. The mayonnaise flavor itself is far more tangy than any I buy, typically. It seems it would pair well with seafood, as the acidic lemony taste is most forward. I like the use-convenience of just squeezing out what I need. The tubes are bigger than I was expecting, which is a plus. I also like that the tubes would be recyclable after use. It's a great combo of nostalgia, convenience and responsible packaging. A win, in my opinion.

I recently found out I have a soybean allergy among with a few other food allergies so my usual brand of mayo is now a no go for me. Happy to find this one with sunflower oil and just a few more simple ingredients. I used the product to make some chicken salad and also used it today for a chicken sandwich and so far no issues with any of my food allergies. Has a very mild taste and I like the product packaging squeeze tube that makes it easy to dispense. I believe I found myself a winner with this mayo spread. I definitely need to check out this company to see what other food product lines they may offer!!

My wife and I like the ease and convenience (not to mention the savings) of making sandwiches for lunch when we are on the road for long trips. Bringing a big jar of mayo has always been a bit problematic for just a couple/four sandwiches. I ordered this 2-pack of 6 ounce Thomy mayonnaise since it looked like just what we needed for the road trips without crowding our cooler. When the package arrived the other day I suspected something was wrong. I opened the outer packaging and found that the inner plastic packaging had been compromised and there was mayo everywhere inside said plastic packaging (see photos). I pulled out the tubes of mayo and saw that one had a hole in the side which was the source of the messy mayo. Upon closer examination, I found that the Thomy Mayonnaise tube is an old school aluminum tube like that in which toothpaste use to be packaged…many years ago. Due to the risk of food poisoning, that tube went straight in the trash. I carefully washed the exterior of the remaining tube and checked for any leaks or punctures. Finding none, I put it in the refrigerator. I’m guessing that this tube of mayo is going to work well for the aforementioned road trips, however, I really dislike the aluminum tube. The metal doesn’t bend/roll easily and, obviously, there is a risk of puncture or cracking of the metal tube. At $5.60 per tube I would expect better packaging. I’m not sure why they don’t just package this product in a plastic tube. I’m giving it a probably overly generous three stars for the basic idea.

Not only does this “egg spread” have eggs in it but they’re organic free range. And the main ingredient is sunflower oil rather than the cheaper soy bean. I’ve been using Japanese mayo because it tastes like actual mayonnaise but this is thick and more tart. And the metal tube is well designed with a propeller cap that lets the tube stand without falling over. You get two for the price and I like the tube form better in some ways because you can flatten it to get every bit out and it’s quite portable. It’s not as cute or precise as Japanese mayo bottles that lets you draw with it like icing because the product is thinner.

I really appreciate that this product contains no preservatives, no coloring, and is made from free-range eggs. I find it similar to other types of mayonnaise but a bit more tangy. We've mostly used it on sandwiches, and everyone in the family likes it! I thought the tubes would be really convenient for dispensing the mayonnaise, and they kind of are. But the metal is thin and easily punctured. Out of the 6oz 2-pack I received, I ended up throwing one of the tubes away as soon as it arrived because the metal tube came punctured and made quite a mess.
