OMG, I'm so freaking happy to have found this!!! I cannot believe my "kahuna" is still for sale after 20+ years!! I use it to house my first-string makeup collection, which is mostly mineral. Backup and bench warmers reside in a different place. This tackle has always been my first grab to do any and every face, until it recently experienced a tragedy. What tragedy could befall a box as tough as this, you wonder? That's really why they still sell it you know, it's as durable as a mountain. It certainly isn't for its good looks. Well, maybe it would be considered handsome for more manly organizing, but for my pretty purposes it could use some pink...er, work. Hehe! If it came in different colors, hello, tackle heaven! However, I'll take function over frilly any day of the week, and this tackle box has that in spades! The pull-out drawers (and I mean actual drawers, not those clear plastic cop-out trays) are thoughtfully segmented into front-to-back columns, and the absolute perfect size for 5g and 10g jars. A couple of the drawers have a perpendicular row in front, which is perfect for pencils and brushes, and, instead of all "single columns," two of the four drawers also have a larger square compartment (like two or three columns combined) that are useful for a multitude of things! The two compartments on top that snap closed are practically airtight. I've had liquid eyeliners still going strong after 5+ years in there! When I bought this tackle box the first time, we weren't shopping online quite like we do today. I wasn't even sure this was what I needed until I actually saw it in the store. Plano 1.0 has been with me from that moment, through every face since! I hate that it has to go into the garage (if hubs and his pressure washer get their way) or the garbage, even though it's still in perfect anatomical and functional shape. Well, it would be perfect if I liked pink (and brown, and blue, and you name it!) powder all over everything. Yeah, I know, I did say it could use some pink, but not like that. The tragedy was of the careless kind - some jars must have come open during our recent move. It was easier to buy 2.0 than to continue trying to clean up 1.0. I still can't get over it's the very same one! I'm probably the only repeat customer this thing has ever had. Ha, ha! Seriously, this tackle box is practically indestructible. Whatever you plan to use it for, it'll be with you for life! So I don't leave anyone on a cliffhanger, 1.0 made it through the pressure wash and now lives with hubs in the garage. Here's a look at 2.0! 💄🪞

I have always had three tackle boxes-a small on for small trout, a medium one for panfish and bass, and a big saltwater one. For my son, I bought this as a "one and done" and its fabulous! It is kinda crowded, and we store the saltwater weights over 3 oz. in a supplemental container, but it works fine! I was thinking of buying a strap as an emergency back up but have found it does NOT pop open if drawers are put away properly and the two snaps are uhhhhh snapped closed.

Perfect size for all my lures and gear. I wanted something light weight and not overly big. Has lots of different storage areas for different types of hooks, weights, bobbers, and lures. Easy to open and find what you need in an instant. Nice carrying handle that nice and sturdy. I definitely recommend this item for your fishing needs.

Bought it to use as a firearm cleaning and tool kit. Works great for that purpose with lots of room and enough dividers.

Lots of storage and customizable internal drawers. Lightweight. Has survived being outside in many rainstorms with no leakage.

Love it, was tired of the old school boxes, so I started using cheap Walmart, ice chest for tackle… Did that for about 3 years…. There was no organization to that, got old….. saw this tackle box, liked the drawers idea, I’m not a person who likes all the plastic organizers boxes. I got this and have used it for a couple months now. I love it, the only down fall is when you drop the front panel to expose the drawers is, to pull the bottom drawer you have to be perfectly level. I keep my weights in the bottom drawer, so it’s not that big of deal… I highly recommend!!!

IMHO, this is the best tackle box made for the average angler. It holds about anything you should need for fishing. Good price too.

This is a great tackle box! Organized all my lures and I use this almost everyday in the summer and it still is in great shape.
