Small shower stool that is well built but might want large for disabled, larger person.
I gave this stool 5 stars as it meets my needs nicely and is well built. My wife and I are not disabled but we are in our 70s. I added a steamer to my standard 60 x 30 inch (that's rough opening, finished tub a bit smaller. Rather than going with a collapsable nylon camping chair that usually comes with those portable steamer tents, I wanted a medical grade shower chair and this one fits perfectly. It assembled fine, no tools needed. Don't tighten the knobs until it is all together to help align holes with the aluminum struts. I am sure it is strong enough to hold 360 pounds (I am average size). But, it only has a 15 inch base of support. I am an occupational therapist and I have used a large shower bench stool with two feet OUTSIDE of the tub that gives a sitting surface that the patient uses to slide over to the inside of the tube for a shower (you just arrange the shower curtain around the part of the bench that is outside the tub. That is the safer way to go. But, for me, I just wanted a stool to sit on when I enjoy the steamer and t works great for that purpose.

Versatile chair
I love how versatile this shower chair is. It would fit in my basic old tub as you would expect to orient it, but I decided to use it sideways and removed one arm so I can sit facing the spigot even though the chair faces out of the tub. That works best for me, and I really appreciate that I can remove one arm but keep the other one. (You can remove both arms if you want.) The feet suction to the bottom of the tub and the chair is very sturdy. I feel really safe. It was easy to assemble with no tools, as described. And I feel like it's light enough to lift but heavy enough to be good solid quality. I did have one issue after using the chair for months. A metal washer inside the feet was rusting. Of course a shower chair shouldn't do that. Perhaps if you move the chair to "un-suction" the feet, the water will drain and it won't rust. But after my back surgery, I was not moving the chair for a few months. When I did move the chair and noticed the problem, I reached out to customer service and they agreed right away that it was an issue - and that they would take it up with their manufacturing team to fix for future chairs. They also resolved my problem promptly and politely. They even offered to send me a new chair, but I didn't need one. I just used some rust remover and replaced the original metal washers with aluminum ones. The customer service person covered the cost of the rust remover and washers, plus some extra for my efforts. I was very pleased.

Good purchase
Fits a normal sized bath tub quite well. Good and easy instructions to assemble. Very sturdy for my octogenarian mom of average weight and size.

Bathtub chain
Bought for an elderly parent to use in the bathtub. We needed a sturdy non-slip chair that would fit the small width of the tub. It was easy to put together. Not the sturdiest chair - it does shake a bit, I would not use it to try and get up with - but once sitting in the chair it is good. The chair seat is short (fits just your sit bones). Overall, it is a good chair and works for what we need.

Nice and sturdy
Much sturdier than another we had to replace! Small/narrow enough to easily fit in our tub. It's great for my mom and then becomes a chair for us when doing bathtime with our toddler!

Not as advertised
It took more involvement than advertised to assemble the seat. 4 screws were provided to secure the seat but only 3 could be used. The 4th screw did not line up so it couldn't be used without major re-alignment. Additionally the optional back couldn't be installed mainly because of the mis aligned hole in the seat. The installed legs are not even and the stool wobbles when placed on a flat surface. Disassembly for a return and then reassembly of a different seat would be more work than it would be worth. We have somewhat of an urgent need to use the chair and will use as is. A refund would seem to be in order but to labor intensive to disassemble and ship etc.

Okay for the price.
All in all a pretty sturdy chair but has a huge problem with the back support. In fact it really isn’t a support at all. After less than a month the tubing began to crack and it became dangerous and useable.
