I was curious to try this biryani food essence, but I have mixed feelings about it. First, the flavor itself isn't bad. It's actually milder than I expected, and the scent isn't particularly strong either. When I first opened the bottle, I noticed a somewhat unusual smell, but nothing overwhelmingly intense. I was expecting a more distinctive, aromatic biryani fragrance. What disappointed me more was the ingredient list. With packaging that emphasizes "Live Natural" and "Natural Flavors," I expected something a little more natural. Instead, the ingredients are water, propylene glycol, and nature-identical and artificial flavoring substances. There are no individually listed spices or actual spice extracts. I understand this is a food essence rather than a traditional spice blend, but the packaging creates a different impression. And then there's the bottle. The instructions literally say to "add a few drops to your dish" and adjust according to taste. Sounds simple enough, right? Except the bottle has no dropper, no flow restrictor, and no small dispensing opening. Just a completely open bottle neck! How exactly are you supposed to add a few drops when one careless tilt could send a whole lot more into your food? For a product intended to be used in such small quantities, this is a surprisingly poor packaging decision. A simple dropper insert would have made a huge difference. The essence itself is usable, and the flavor isn't unpleasant, but between the underwhelming aroma, the ingredient list, and the impractical bottle, I can't give it a higher rating. At $7.99 for just 25 ml, I think the manufacturer could at least include a proper dispenser and be more transparent about what's inside.

This adds a very nice aroma to my biryani, I personally used it as a finishing oil to my rice and it amplified the scent and brought up the spices as well. I only added a few drops to the pan and I felt that that was enough. Overall it is easy, convenient, well priced at $6.49 and this small bottle will last me a while.
