Not recommended for iPhone 16 Pro Max
iPhone 16 Pro Max - didnโt work well. Purchased ORICO SSD for a shoot in Apple ProRes, waste of money. Constant disconnect and termination of video recording. Connected to 17 Pro Max - video could be recorded in 4K ProRes HDR, tried up to 10 minutes. Light weight is positive experience, but cheap feeling of material, could be better. Getting hot in way of cable connection to the disk even without usage. Writing this feedback in Amazon app having disk connected, temperature of disk enclosure reached around 45+ degree C, not sure what will happen outdoor under direct sunlight. Will try to use as a normal SSD for a laptop, letโs see how it worksโฆ

The cable / connector
The connector didn't match to my iPhone 13 ProMax and 14 ProMax. so its useless. It was disappointing that the cable is type C.

When my phone runs out of storage space, this little thing is a life saver. 512GB helps me pull a lot of files, pictures and videos from my phone that I donโt necessarily need right now. It definitely comes in handy. Mount on the back of my phone and itโs super fast to download. Reliable storage mounted on the back of my iPhone.

Perfect SSD to shoot ProRes videos with, Cable you use can be finicky and will have to find one that can support higher speeds of shooting

Works very well for me (at least when connected directly to my Android phone)... after formatting it the first time, it's good to use... transfer speeds are dawn fast... now I need not worry about running out of space in Google Photos...
