Is $32 the usual price for the mesquite seasoning and if so what makes it cost so much more than other Grill Mates flavors? Is it that much better?

The seasoning is very good. I use it to make marinades for meats on the grill. In the past it has sold for half this price. Use "honey" to check.

Mesquite Seasoning, and 2 tbsp. each oil and honey. Place 1 1/2 lbs. boneless skinless chicken breast halves in large resealable plastic bag or glass dish. Add marinade; turn to coat well. Refrigerate 15 minutes or longer for extra flavor. Remove chicken from marinade. Discard any remaining marinade. Grill chicken over medium heat 6 to 8 minutes per side or until cooked through, turning frequently. For Chicken Club Sandwiches, serve grilled chicken on toasted buns with Cheddar cheese, cooked bacon, tomato, lettuce and ranch dressing. Makes 6 servings.

A very good quality

This is one of my go-to seasonings for tri-tip roasts. It give a delicious smoky flavor. I use this, plus the McCormick "Montreal" seasoning. I sprinkle both seasonings *liberally* on both sides of the meat and spray with cooking spray to hold it in place. Then I grill it on the barbeque to an internal temperature of 110 degrees F. It turns out perfectly medium-rare every time!

Didn't like, price. It's a lot of money for a seasoning. Like, the flavor and aroma. I use it on steak and salmon. Both are worthy of the extra cost for the flavor.. I'm going to try on some barbeque chicken next.
