This cam is NOT AHD 1080p I have cut the orange wire as instructed to put the cam into AHD mode and my top of the line Android head unit will only see a picture if I set it to AHD 720p 30fps, I ordered this to replace the 1080p one that come with my unit that the jet wash people destroyed my lense with. this look terrible on my unit that has a High 2000 x 1200 resolution

I am a professional installer, installed hundreds, this camera is one of the best. Is very versatile, you can use the same camera for front or back, standard view, picture is almost like HD quality for regular screens up to 700 lines or switch to AHD for 1080p screens. It has a fisheye lens so the angles are enough for distance and to see your hitch if needed. The body is sturdy, metal with stainless steel screws, comes with plate holder adjustable which helps in the most difficult installations! The other thing that made me try this camera is the manufacturer claim that the video cable is better insulated for signal loss which I can confirm that it is! I was able to eliminate distorsions from cars whith this issue. The seller is great, they responded to all my questions before and after sale, I did tested the product before I am writing this review. This is not a fake or payed review, I spent my time to write it because this product stands out!

Bought this as replacemnet for my front camera on my aftermarket radio head unit. My original camera lens fogged up in less than a uear. This one is superior and very clear sharp image, easy to install and allows for reverse image for front view. Been a few months since installed. Works great and very happy with the product and the seller. They were very responsive with answers to questions I had.

Having used a range of reverse cameras over the years, normally cheaper units from eBay, I took a punt on buying this camera and replacing the one on my Toyota LandCruiser because I was so sick of the poor quality of the image of the existing camera. I do a bit of 4wding, so a good quality camera when I am reversing on tight tracks is important. The quality of the image from this camera is simply amazing - far, far superior to anything I have used previously, and with a wide angle which is exactly what I was hoping for. I have my camera mounted just below roof level, and can now see down low to my tow hitch, and high enough that I can see a car travelling behind me - absolutely perfect. The image is crisp and clear. Definitely happy with my purchase.
