NOW Supplements, Chitosan 500 mg plus Chromium, Weight Management*, 120 Veg Capsules

A nutritionist told me about this product. As a skeptic, I really am not crazy about things not approved by the FDA (Food and Drug Administration). So, I went to my Doctor to see if there were any contraindications or bad side effects. He wasn't crazy about supplements either, but gave me the OK. I'm still trying to see the results. This is going to be a gradual process. I'm going to order at least two, maybe three months of Chitozen and see if there is a change. So far, nothing bad. Good job for a supplement.

I am not totally sure about the quality of this product at this point. The first time I ever took chitosan I could tell right from the start that something was happening and fat was leaving my body (I won't go into the gory details) but with this I haven't seen or felt anything that gives me the impression that it is doing the job. NOW, that could be due to a few factors, one of which is the first time I started taking Chitosan, I was eating a higher fat diet and now I eat barely any fat what-so-ever. I just bought the product so that it would bind itself to the rest of the fat that might be lingering in my system and any that I might take in now and again. With that I can't give this a bad rating nor a high rating because I honestly can't tell yet. I've only had the product a few weeks and if Amazon would give us longer to actually use the products before the incessantly bug us to rate and review them, maybe people would get a better representation of how a product is working for someone because they would know how it worked for more than just a week or two

Relatively decent quality. The only problem that I have with us is that about thirtyish percent of the pills in the bottle were cracked open so there’s powder everywhere. Other than that now supplements are pretty high-quality so I do trust that this is working. Plus I get the stomach ache that I usually do from taking it. I do notice in my blood levels that my cholesterol has gone down significantly I was well over 200 and now I’m at 190 in a week since I’ve started taking this. a good supplement but maybe just a bad batch.

This product is used to reduce fat absorption. Personally, I take more for prevention, 1 capsule once a day before meals. The capsule size is normal, without obvious taste. The benefit will be gained more if you add diet and exercise.

I mix this in with my cat's wet food every day. Mixes well with a tiny bit of water and the cats don't seem to taste it or mind it.

It really helps keeping you full and eliminating the bad stuff. I have health issues, this keeps my kidneys, my liver functioning. Well, I've had blood work and it comes out good.
