I've only used the resistance (Ohms) and voltage (AC and DC) settings, but always seems consistently accurate. Haven't seen any extreme, over the top readings that would make me question accuracy or reliability of any measurements taken. I did notice the digital LED readings fading at a certain point and I thought I had a dead battery problem. Changed the battery out but had same issue with the LED not as bright as before and sometimes fading out. I opened up the battery compartment area, cleaned some contacts (behind switch) and used some dielectric grease for the battery and switch contacts. The digital LED brightness returned and have had no problems whatsoever since then. Crossing my fingers I have at least a couple more years of use with my Actron. I did pick up another multi-meter recently as a backup AstroAI Digital Multimeter with Ohm Volt Amp and Diode Voltage Tester Meter on desertcart which had good reviews and very good price. Review: All the above features plus familiarity, reliability, practicability and adaptability. - Accuracy, multifaceted, experience and familiarity with the instrument. It has been around for a long time and has proven itself to be reliable tool over the years. Most customers with car experience loved this product. BOUGHT TWO HERE TO GO WITH THE ONE I ALREADY HAD FOR SEVERAL YEARS. IT STILL WORKS GOOD BUT THESE WERE HALF THE PRICE I PAID AT A LOCAL PARTS STORE SO I GOT THEM TO KEEP IN MY SEPARATE TOOL BOXES. THESE MAY NOT BE AS ACCURATE AS A FLUKE , BUT MY FLUKE 88-V WAS OVER $500 COMPARED TO 20+ FOR THIS ONE.
