Effective skin protectant
This was recommended to me by a surgeon. It’s a great skin protectant with a menthol cooling effect. This stuff doesn’t budge. It’s a bit hard to clean off, due to its waterproof nature, but on the flip side, it provides long-lasting protection.

Medicine Cabinet Must Have
So heads up, this is a TMI review. If you have hemorrhoids, fissures, IBS-D, bile acid malabsorption, or any other condition that leads to anorectal irritation/ discomfort, you need this stuff. I will forever keep it in stock even for occasional bouts of ✨spicy diarrhea✨. It’s basically menthol + zinc oxide in an ointment base that includes calamine and lanolin — so it’s thick, closer to a paste than a gel, spreads thickly, goes on pink and dries white. I have digestive issues and this the ONLY thing I’ve found that relieves the itching + burning sensation I sometimes get when I overdo my detox tea, eat too much fat/ spicy food, or drink too much caffeine or alcohol (don’t judge me). Better than Tucks pads, Preparation H, aloe vera, coconut oil or A+D first aid ointment. To apply, I fold a few sheets of toilet paper, wipe, and 1-2 minutes later my soul is at peace again. Yes, there is a cooling sensation, and no, the menthol doesn’t burn. I don’t have a baby, but I can imagine this stuff would work wonders for diaper rash or chafing. Same goes for eczema. Either way, I’m glad I found it and I highly recommend it for sensitive areas irritated by exposure to acids. I hope this review helps someone. Cheers 💖
