I tried this grip extender bracket AND the Small Rig Leather half case. This bracket wins hands down for functionality. If you mount it "sideways" on a ball-head, you don't need an additional plate. Love the vertical carry I get by using the additional strap mounting point on the L-Shaped Bracket. Fantastic when combined with the Small Rig "Rope Camera Neck Shoulder Strap" as shown in the attached picture.

I got this to give my camera a better grip, and it fits my Fuji X-M5 perfectly. It also comes with a red shutter button, shoe adapter, and windshield! One thing to note is that in order to use my tripod, I have to remove the grip since it blocks the bottom mount

I never write reviews but this is legit! I took this with me on my month-long Japan/Philippines trip abroad. My whole time gallivanting around I had no issues with it. I never even lost the attached screwdriver (the magnet is strong). It’s lightweight but solid. It fits perfectly snug. It makes my Fujifilm X-M5 more comfortable to grip, and the texture of the grip itself makes it so my hands don’t slip. I like how it makes the Fujifilm X-M5 look more solid and professional too. I had an accident where my grandmother put my camera on her porch ledge (which is really high up), I reached for it and accidentally knocked it off. I swear this thing saved my camera. You can see a dent in the metal where my camera fell but if I didn’t have it on my camera would have been a goner. That inspired me to write this. Don’t get a dinky leather case for your camera. Get this!

The camera is great, but the ergonomics aren’t as good because of its size. This handgrip is a game changer and a total must. The windscreens and button are nice additions too.

Works as expected. Only detractor is the front finger grip shifts a little when attaching and tightening to an arca Swiss tripod. Bonus points given because you can still remove the battery and sd card without having to remove thr grip. Highly recommend for the small Fuji Xm5

Really like this product, the grip is very comfortable and fits the X-M5 camera very nicely, makes a big difference in handling the camera, for the better. The red trigger button would be a matter personal taste, I tried it and could go either way, would have actually prefer it if it was black as well. Did not get to use the wind noise reducer but I have read that it works well. The flash cavity protector is good to have. Overall satisfied with this set.

Must have for Fujifilm x-m5 which makes camera handling much more easier. This grip is well made and come with additional items to spruce up the look of your new camera.
