I have been using them consistently for 4 months now. They are not the kind of hex bells you can dump on the floor just because of the nature of how they are built. That said, if you have limited space like I do in my apartment and don't typically throw your dumbbells around anyway, these work great. The dial is really handy and you get an audible "click" when you make an adjustment. The numbers are clearly labeled on both sides of the unit. Grip is solid. They can be removed with no trouble and put back into the base with limited effort (Other than lining up the unit with the base which one could expect from an adjustable dumbbell). In ending money well spent.
