One Great Product!
The Microtouch Titanium Head Shaver is one great piece of grooming gear. I expected this product to work, but not very well since I have had bad experiences with other similar gear. But I was getting fleeced at my barber for head shaves every couple of weeks. So, I decided, "what the heck, I'll give this one a try." WOW, was I ever surprised! This thing not only worked, it gave me a better head shave than my barber, and he uses a hot towel, shave butter, and a straight razor! I'm so glad I don't have to go and spend money on head shaves any more! And I can "touch up" at home any time I want! As a result of my satisfaction with this product, I purchased the Microtouch Titanium Max, the nose, ear and touch-up trimmer. These products are on a another level! These aren't the similar but cheap products you see (and have probably purchased) at some store. I recommend both products 100%! NOTES: (1) Just because you still have some stubble left, doesn't mean you didn't get a close shave. Take a look at your head in a well-lit room...I still have some stubble left over, but the light reflects off my head like I had removed ALL the hair. No one looking at you would ever suspect you still had some stubble left over, and wouldn't care if you did! So what if it snags your T-shirts when you slip one over your head? Who cares? That still happened to me after a straight-razor shave at the barber! If you're still not satisfied, then...guess what? You're never going to be happy with ANY head shaver. Sorry. (2) Slow down! Sure, you can shave your entire head in five minutes with this product. That doesn't mean you should. Exercise a bit more care by shaving a little slower. You wouldn't try to set a speed record shaving your face with a straight razor, would you? Six or seven or eight minutes is still a lot better than fifteen minutes with another product. (3) Use circular strokes as you shave with this product...clockwise AND counterclockwise. That way, you'll do the "with the grain," "cross-grain," and "against the grain" strokes just like you would with a razor on your face. Go look at the YouTube channels hosted by "professional shavers" and watch how they shave. The good ones do THREE passes on their faces. Why? Because if they didn't, they'd still have stubble. No two men are going to have the same grain pattern on their faces OR heads! Heck, the hair on my neck grows in FOUR different directions! Start your circular strokes on one side of your head, low, just above the ear (like the guy in the video). Start towards the front of your head, doing clockwise strokes and slowly move toward the back of your head. Then reverse directions (slowly moving toward the front of your head)...only this time doing counterclockwise strokes. Let's call this a "path." Then do the same thing, only higher on your head (closer to the middle of your head). Repeat. If each path is of even diameters, it should only take three paths to do one entire half of your head. (4) This product works great without water, shave cream or anything else that's just going to clog up the blades and reduce both their effectiveness and lifespan. If you still insist on doing something extra besides shaving, then wash and towel-dry your head before shaving. (5) If you let your hair grow out more than a quarter of an inch, knock it back a little with clippers (electric or manual) before using this product. Make sense? (6) This is a great product, but it's never going to be better than the person using it. If the person using it tries to be a speed demon, or doesn't use the product with common sense, then...guess what? You're never going to get a good shave. And remember, the Microtouch Titanium Head Shaver can shave your face, too (I think your face is part of your head, isn't it)? It's a good touch-up tool. I "wet shave" with a razor, but then use the Microtouch to get rid of "five o'clock shadow."

Better than Pitbull - Update itβs unreliable
The deism is great however the motor is junk. I went through two of them. The first one broke down after a few days so I exchanged it for a new one. The new one lasted a few weeks before breaking down. I tried to return it but I was outside of the return window. It looks cool but itβs junk. This shaver is well designed and sturdy. It charges fast and cuts as good as any other shaver. I will say this design is much better than the Pitbull brand which is what I used before this. That one has a poor design with the way the shaving head attached to the base. It comes loose over time and makes the whole thing useless. This design is one piece so itβs very sturdy. It also looks like a menβs grooming product not some cheap plastic toy like the Pitbull one.

Almost as good as a razor
I've been using this shaver for 2 weeks now on my head and face and have been very satisfied with its performance. This shaver gives a closer shave than I had expected; it is comfortable to use, and it is easy to use. Over 2 weeks, the blades have not dulled at all. I do not have a reference for how long the blade should stay sharp, and would be interested in hearing from others's experiences and expectations. I may lower my rating if I find that the blades dull quickly. 04/17/2025 Update: Still using this razor almost daily and very happy with it. I have not needed to change the head, but I bought new ones think I would eventually. I notice the battery does not hold up as long as it used to, but I keep it plugged in and it is great for a morning shave. For the past 25 years, I have been utilizing clippers to maintain a low cut and using a razor when I really want to take it down as close as possible. The first time I used this shaver, my stubble was probably slightly longer than the recommended 1/16 inch length, which the instructions say is too long. The shaver had difficulty with this and required a more thorough cleaning afterward. I saw in one review that a customer had tried to shave her father's head, whose hair was probably too long for the shaver, so they were dissatisfied with it. As it currently stands, I use this as a dry shaver every morning, and the shaver takes the stubble down almost as close as a razor would. Using it daily makes cleaning much easier; I simply tap out the reservoir, and I do not have to take the blades apart or use the brush.

Battery Life, Cutting Depth and Pricing
Just bouth this shaver after having an issue with my previous and famous Skull Shaver (noise related problem), so far the Microtouch Head Shaver is doing very good, not awesome, not super great, the cutting depth by comparing this other previous shaver is not as short and smooth as the Skull Shaver. No nicks or irritation when using the Microtouch (very important), I am currently using it every day in the last 4 days and its been perfect (maybe the reason why with the Skull Shaver I had a little bit of irritation, because it cut deeper? probably) Ok, so now, another important factor for me, what about battery life after a full charge? The Skull shaver say 90min battery life, the Microtouch? nobody know and this information you will NOT find it anywhere. Did open a support ticket before buying and support states that it should be between 80min-120min after full charge, so, I am currently proving this statement, already used it 4 days, around 3 min each use, totalling 12min at the moment. I will post another update when the battery runoff. I did create a excel table with the amount of times I use (minutes), I will use the Microtouch 2 times a day to try to get to finish the battery as fast as possible. But the question I am asking myself, if they are stating 80-120min battery life via a support ticket, why they are NOT posting this so important and valuable information in their webpage? Time will tell and hopefully is the truth because so far I like the Microtouch Head Shaver and I dont like to be deceived with lies and bad advertizement. If my battery longetivity test is less than 60min (this is my minimum acceptable value) I will return the shaver and buy back another Skull Shaver that lasted me a full 90min. Another good think is the price, its about the same as other some famous brands out there and almost half the price than the Skull Shaver, so this is a very good think. 2 WEEKS UPDATE Changing from 3 to 4 stars, can it reach the 5 starts?, so far the shaver have been very good, always use in dry skin so i cannot comment on wet shave but will test and update my comments in the next 2 weeks. My shaves still 3 min long, sometimes 4 just to push the limit of the battery, used for 60min since my first initial charge, cleaned like only 2 times to also push the limits of how it will work under a dirty environment, and so far is great. I have very sensitive skin but still no nicks or irritation and in the first week I used after shave after every head shave, but now i am not using that much after shave and I am even putting more down pressure to have a better shave and believe me that is doing great with veeeeery smooth results. 3 WEEKS UPDATE (LAST ONE) As promised, did a spreadsheet of use vs battery consumption, Microtouch support stated 80-120min but my test was the following. Powered ON-OFF a total of 24 times with some 2min shaving and some 4 min shaving. the low battery led started at minute 58 and it died at minute 76. As stated above i was going to be happy if this lasted 60min and it did, but was not what Microtouch Support said, that is why i will leave this review on 4 star. Never used it wet, so i cannot share my comments here. Posting a video after two days of letting my hair grow, you decide if you consider this a close shave, I am more than happy of its results.

Decent, But Not Great / 3 MONTH UPDATE==> Battery life decreasing rapidly
3 MONTH UPDATE: Shaver still works but battery life between charges is decreasing rapidly. Battery lasted me 2 weeks between charges (6-8 shaves of 7-8 minutes each) when new. Now it lasts 3 shaves for a total of 21-24 minutes before it needs to be recharged. Charging now takes 2-3 hours to get a full charge. That is unacceptable. I was afraid this would happen with this brand. I doubt the battery will last long enough to replace the expensive blade head in the 6-12 months recommended. I CANNOT RECOMMEND THIS SHAVER. My next shaver will be a well known name brand! I have lowered my rating from 3 stars to 1 stars. ORIGINAL REVIEW: I have been shaving my head for over 5 years now. I use an Andis and/or a straight edge razor. If I shave every day, the Andis takes 10-15 minutes. The straight edge takes about that long because I want to leave the bathroom with the same number of ears attached to my head as I entered with. Overall, this Microtouch Titanium Head Shaver is a quieter, and more convenient way to shave my head. Here are the PROS and CONS after my first use: PROS: 1. Faster shave. It took about 5 minutes to shave 2 days of growth. That would have taken the Andis 20+ minutes. 2. Quiet. MUCH quieter than the Andis. This is also a CON (see below). 3. Easy to use. One button on and off. Also has a travel lock feature so it doesn't start running in your suitcase. 4. Comfortable to hold. Very easy to grasp, even in my old arthritic hands. Unlike the Andis, this is multi-directional when using. 5. Easy to clean. Instructions recommend rinsing the cutting head with water after brushing it out after every use. Seems more hygienic. 6. Comfortable shave. I had no irritation or bleeding after using this Microtouch Titanium Head Shaver. It also adapted well to the lumps, bumps, and dips in my skull. 7. Sturdy blade design. I have been cut by the Andis when the blades wear through the extremely thin foil heads. The blades/cutting heads on this Microtouch seem much sturdier than the Andis. CONS: 1. Close, but not real close shave. Commercial says this is the closest shave those guys have ever had. They must have had some pretty bad shaves. This shaves close enough to look good, but leaves enough stubble to snag a microfiber towel. This is most likely due to the thicker and sturdier cutting head (which is a PRO) design of the Microtouch. The Andis shaves my head as close as the straight edge razor does. Zero stubble. 2. Wimpy motor. While the motor is very quiet, it is also very weak sounding. It sounds like the Model Motoring mini slot cars I had as a kid. 3. I don't trust this brand the way I trust the name brand shavers that have been around for years. Microtouch seems to come out with a new and updated "best shaver ever" every few weeks. Overall, I would give this a 2 star rating if I paid full TV price for it. Amazon had this for a crazy low price, and for that it is worth it to me to keep it and use it. It is better for cutting 2-3 day growth than the Andis, but the Andis cuts closer. Therefore, I will shave with this Microtouch and then re-shave with the Andis. Even when using both, it will still cut my head shaving time in half. And that's a good thing. One other thing to note...both the Microtouch and the Andis are very comfortable on my head. I had zero irritation from using both.

Please Read if you are serous.
If you read the 1* reviews and watched the videos and look at the pictures of ppl saying it stopped working after 2 uses or it doesn't cut the hair, well you can tell thoes ppl didn't know how to read. It clearly statedls in the instructions to fully charge the shaver before the first use (thats why it's died after 2 uses), it also states it can't cut hair longer then 1/16 in and more then 3 day old stubble (the hair was too long to cut), it again stated don't use while in the shower (the review w/ water all over the shaver I would bet $$ he used it in the shower) ok that was to debunk all the reviews from ppl who refuse to read. My option is that it's a decent shaver, is it as good as using a 5 to 6 blade razor? No, no electric shaver can get as close as a manual but it does a good job at getting close, I would say about the feel of 12hr stubble after using a manual razor. I like it, for days I don't go out but are too lazy to go thru the prep ant time it takes to manually shave my head it's a great time saver to keep up the shaved head

Nice, not too over the top with more blades than head to shave/face to shave
UPDATE: Bought a new one to replace the last one I bought which I believe was even a year old. It would not hold a charge and despite charging it, the charge needed light would blink. I use it every day. And I use it to shave my face and head. So it gets alot of use, maybe more than others, I don't know. But for the cost, it is still worth it to me for the outcome. It works. And it works well. I would have bought alot of razor blades and/or disposable razors in that amount of time, which negates the cost to replace it. This is like an electric rotary head razor, but with two extra heads/blades. It is comfortable to hold, has a non-slip surface, has decent battery life, and conforms to head shapes and oddities to allow for a decent shave. Same when using as a face shaver. I like the 5 heads for face shaving, it does more and not too over the top. Frankly the thing with more than five heads/blades is that you get overwhelmed with what needs to still be done. This has a charging cable (no charger), and a brush to wipe out the blade area. It works, it is a decent product and while I first saw it on the TV commercial, I was glad Amazon was selling it. I would recommend this to anyone for a head and/or face shaver. It works, works well, and will be using this as summer approaches to keep me cool with a shaved head.

This product really works as seen on tv which is rare!
I saw an infomercial on this product on tv about the micro touch titanium head shaver/shaver. I got on Amazon and bought this product. I have had this product for a month now and I love it! This is one of the as seen on tv products that is definitely worth the hype and the purchase! You can use the micro touch titanium for head (If you shave head) or face. It is a quick shave even with longer stubble and is hassle free! You can use it to trim sideburns and hairline accurately and it feels so comfortable in your hand! It has a very nice attractive rugged look. It has the usb type-C port/ charger. You can use it wet or dry and it works very well both ways! I have had NO RAZOR BURN at all and since using this product for my head and face both I donβt use lotions because it seems to not dry or burn your skin at all! Very great product! 5 stars and ππ»ππ»
