Great balanced pod between cost and flavour……if you prefer decaf but still want that coffee taste , these hit the spot at reasonable cost

Brilliant pods although decaf still have a great flavour

I like an after-dinner espresso but try to avoid caffeine after about 2 pm. I've been using the Nespresso decaf pods for a while but these have become ridiculously expensive so I decided to try the L'Or ristretto decaf pods. At the Spring Deals price they come out at 25p and they are easily worth that. The coffee is strong, smooth and tastes as good as the Nespresso. The pods fit well and work without any problems - no splits, no 'puncture' fails. this is the only L'Or variety I've tried but may give others a go when I've used my 500 Nespresso pods :-).

We ordered a box of these pods before Christmas. We've had a Nespresso machine for a few years and tried various brands but this is our first time trying L'OR. They were excellent value and no issues with fitting into our Nespresso Citiz machine. To my taste they were a little weak, I prefer a stronger flavour however if you prefer a milder taste to your coffee these may suit you.

I've been drinking decaf for a while for health reasons. I'd taken myself off coffee altogether for a couple of years because I simply couldn't find a decent decaf alternative. More recently, I felt I should try again. I'd previously gotten right into coffee - sourcing high quality beans, grinding them myself, and learning the subtle art of French Press coffee. Unfortunately, decaf didn't present anything flavourful beyond a bit of slightly muddied coffee water. After another 3 month stint searching for the perfect decaf, I was back off coffee again. Enter L'OR Espresso Coffee Ristretto Decaffeinato. A friend of mine who had a pod coffee machine introduced me to it. I hate these pod machines. They've bastardised the coffee experience. Still, I'm open minded. Boy, was I shocked when this decaf pod turned into the best decaf home-made coffee I'd ever had. I'm so impressed. Within a week I had my own pod-machine, and 10 of these 10 packs. Now I get to enjoy full-bodied coffee, without compromising my health. It's been nice to welcome the smell of coffee back into my home with arms wide open. If you're interested in a non-caffeinated coffee without compromising flavour, try this one and set yourself up for some fun, yum, decaf drinking.

Ive tried many decaf pods and beans over the years and this is the best value. While the official nespresso decaf is a little better (Decaffeinato Intenso line), these cost much less. Swiss water decaf beans are all i can find for my main machine and always have this weird taste, these pods don't have that taste.
