Container might not be big enough for syringes, but holds my pen needles perfectly. Use 2 containers each time I fly. Put unused pen needles in one and used ones in the other. Holds roughly 15 pen needles in each container. **Q: How many lancets can this hold?** A: Don't know as I haven't changed my lancet in well over a year. I used it on a 25 day trip and put in my testing strips and needle tips (usually 2 every 4 days) and it barely filled up half. **Q: Does the plastic get recycled?** A: In Baltimore County, the filled container goes into the trash.
