Out of the box this Towel Holder felt heavy for what it is. Weighing in at 8.9 ounces compared to the unit it replaced at only 3.5 ounces. The wall mounting bracket design is standard using screws and the included Allen Wrench to tighten holder to the bracket. Although quite sturdy as I am using this to hold a bath towel rather than a hand towel, the ring itself does not hang parallel to the wall (see photo). Something looked off once install and adding the towel really showed the crookedness of the ring. There is some play where it mounts and attempted to twist it straight but only had it bounce back to crooked. Perhaps wedging something where the ring fits in bracket might straighten as there is quite a good amount of play there. If the out of alignment ring does not bother you, then this is a solid made Towel Holder.

Update After using this towel holder for a few weeks, I have noticed the color of this does not match the rest of the brushed nickel items in the bathroom. It has a very, very silvery color. I took a picture with it next to faucet so you can see. Yes they say "brushed nickel silver" in the description but I still think this is misleading. They should just say silver or chrome color only. Original Review Very impressed with this towel ring. I especially like how screws are hidden behind the plate. My towel holder was not near a stud so I really had to be creative with larger anchors supporting it. The design of this holder allowed me to use much longer, more aggressive screws behind the scenes. Aside from this, this towel holder checked all the boxes. It looks great and the brushed nickel matches all the other brushed nickel fixtures in the room.

Reading the other reviews, I don’t know what went wrong. I followed every instruction but the item refuses to stay on the wall. I had to buy sticky putty and velcro strips from Walmart to keep it attached—making it overall unreliable and unusable. The product itself is also designed asymmetrically, and it’s noticeable. The entire experience was really annoying and left wall damage. Do not recommend buying.
