Quality, Healthful, Tasty, Resealable Bag and Reasonable Price: What's Not To Love?
For those of us on low sodium diets, these Blue Diamond Low Sodium Lightly Salted Snack Nuts are just what the Doctor ordered. Lightly roasted in either canola or sunflower oil, the taste is excellent, with a crisp fresh bite and only 40 mg of salt. These do contain fat, but of 16 grams of fat, only 1 is saturated so heart healthy. Further nutritional pluses for your 170 Calorie investment? 1 ounce, or about 28 nuts, contains 6 grams of protein, as much as an egg! 8 per cent of your daily calcium requirement and with 5 grams of carbs and 3 grams of benefical fiber, your Net Carb bottom line is 2 grams carbs, suitable for keto diets. The resealable bag is a definate plus, just pour out what you need and easy to re-seal in the freshness. At around $0.50 per serving this makes a wonderful snack or addition to your own Trail Mix, Overnight Oats or part of a cheese and cracker platter for family and guests. I noticed almost all nuts are whole and medium sized indicated good quality control. Farm co-ops right in this fertile San Joaquin Valley I'll be placing these on regular delivery and recommend them highly.
