Following the success of the Haynes Thunderbirds Manual , the same author/illustrator team turn their attention to Captain Scarlet, another iconic sci-fi creation of the late Gerry Anderson. This fascinating manual is a technical guide to Spectrum, the global security service of 2068, and features background information, a history of its creation, profiles of leading agents, confidential details of Spectrumโs most valuable weapon in the fight against the Mysterons, and fully annotated cutaway drawings of Spectrum vehicles. The book finishes with comprehensive Mission Files, making it the complete and essential manual for all Spectrum Agents. Review: like Firefly, Doctor Who - 50 years later, the background of Spectrum can be revealed! I remember running home after classes in Grade School, to watch this show. Now, Haynes explores the series in details, that I could only dream of. Along with the tech of Spectrum, they also give details, into the Zero -X , which was introduced in Thunderbirds Are Go! I am always impressed in how the Haynes Manuals open up more of the Media Related world, and hope they continue so (I have seen T-Shirts of covers of manuals they should do, like Firefly, Doctor Who, and Space Cruiser Yamato, which I hope they take the hints). This book, as well as the one they did for International Rescue/Thunderbirds, brought back pleasant memories. Review: S.I.G ! - The book looks amazing and is a great companion to the Thunderbirds book. Photos seems to be remastered and are very clear considering they are from the 1960's. The cutaway views are superb. The only desapointment is that the book has a soft cover, It would have been perfect if it had an hard cover. (That's why I gave it 4 stars instead of 5)

Spectrum is green!! So is this book!
Absolutely superb! If you love Captain Scarlet and all the great design work of Derek Meddings and Mike Trim, you need this book. Beautifully illustrated with all the information on the world of Captain Scarlet that fans crave. My only complaint is that the publisher did not release a hardcover version as they did with the previous Thunderbirds book.

Spectrum is green
So beautifully detailed, I can't even begin! The attention to detail is brilliant. I primarily wanted this for art reference, but it's full of interesting trivia too. If you're a fan of Capt Scarlet it is worth every penny.

Great details
With all the details it is fantastic. As a modeler and scratch builder it gives a lot of details to the items.
