Great Value and perfect for 175 degree green tea steeping or cranking up to 205 for our coffee! I think it works great a though it doesn't hold as much water as my last pot, it's perfect for my husband and I who make our tea and coffee together in the morning. Love the look of it and quality is exceptional. It is worth the price and a great value. It keeps water warm for quite a while and is fast to boil.

I originally bought this kettle mainly for making pour over coffee, and it has been working really well for that. After the water finishes boiling, you can simply press the keep warm button and it will hold the temperature for about an hour, which is extremely convenient when you are brewing multiple cups or taking your time with coffee. One thing I discovered by accident is that it is also great for making matcha. Because the kettle allows you to control and hold the temperature, it is much easier to prepare matcha at the right heat without worrying about overheating the water. I also really like the design. It looks very elegant and clean on the counter, not bulky at all. It feels like one of those small appliances that actually makes your kitchen look nicer. Overall I did not expect to use it for so many things, but it has become a very handy tool in my daily routine. The keep warm function and the temperature control are both really useful.

Packaging is very well done. Attractive unit when sitting on counter top. Amazing how light the whole unit is, makes it very easy to handle when pouring. When you read the instructions, don't get misled when you see "click". It should probably read "press". The controls appear to be metal conductive shapes cut into the base activated by touch. They are not buttons that you can feel clicking. May take you a few rounds of experimenting to get used to them. The timer is nice, an enhancement would be to add the capability that lets the timer be set and do a countdown that uses the beep to indicate when it hits zero. The hold temp is a great feature as well. Overall I would definitely buy again. UPDATE: After using it for a few weeks now, I've found that the touch controls have continued to be "less than useful". Getting it out of timer mode and back to hold temp has been a real hassle. Bringing the first kettle to temp has been quick and great, trying to get a subsequent kettle refilled and heated has been a struggle unless you let things cool down. I'll keep this to have around but I'm probably going to hunt for another kettle.

Trust the other negative reviews- this kettle should NOT be rated as almost 5 stars. I love the concept of the temperature control and holding the temperature. Very few electric kettles have this feature, and it’s specifically the reason I chose this one. But I’ve had it just under a month and about every other morning for the last week, I turn it on to heat and it doesn’t do anything, then displays “e2” on the screen. I unplug it, plug it back in, and try again. After 2-3 times of this, it’ll start working again. But this is in less than a month - so how long before it quits working completely? For $70?? No thank you! Returning and buying a basic one from the local Walmart for half the price

Me encanta, puedo experimentar haciendo café con la temperatura exacta del agua. Lo único es que es un poco complejo de limpiar por dentro.
